A festive outing to Liverpool Christmas Markets was just what our hardworking T-Levels needed after a busy term, with final exams on the horizon. They've worked tirelessly in placement and college, so it was lovely to see them unwind and have a wonderful day. Well done, keep up the great work 🎄🎁📸

🎃👻 Our Level 2 Certificate students had a spooktacular time diving into Halloween activities, perfectly timed with the start of their child development unit! They got hands-on with a range of eerie-sistible activities and then put on their thinking caps to explore how each one supports physical, language, cognitive, and social-emotional development. It's amazing to see them applying what they're learning in such a fun and creative way! 🕷️🕸️

Today our students visited the local park to kick off our Health and Safety in the Early Years unit. They explored real life hazards, assessed risks, and discussed how to keep children safe in outdoor spaces.

They even had a go on the play equipment - reflecting on the importance of fun and play in early years practice.

During a recent simulated scenario, our Level 2 Early Years learners demonstrated excellent professionalism. Faced with a pretend sick incident, they responded with confidence — using appropriate PPE, showing care for the child, and following correct health and safety procedures throughout.

These role-play activities help prepare our learners for real-life situations in early years settings! 👏🧼👶

Today, our Level 2 Health and Social Care learners were learning about infection prevention and control within the health and social care environment. Whilst learning about bacteria, fungi and virus’ we thought it would only be fair for them to look at some real slides of healthy and harmful bacteria 🦠!

Today, our Level 2 Diploma Childcare students took part in their own sports day! 🥇

We enjoyed a variety of games, reviewed how each one supports learning, and discussed what makes them enjoyable for children. A fantastic day full of fun and skill-building to help us all grow in the childcare sector! 👏

T-Level Education and Early Years 💫 To further develop their knowledge on caring for babies, this week the T-Level students learnt how to make a safe bottle for a baby.
