Our amazing volunteers, including some of our fantastic Garden Guardians 🌼👩‍🌾👨‍🌾, have been busy throughout the summer holidays helping to keep our school grounds looking beautiful. 🌸🌳

🌟 What a year it’s been for the Ash Green PTFA! 🌟

As we come to the end of another academic year, we’d like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us. Whether you’ve volunteered your time, attended an event, donated, or simply cheered us on, you’ve helped make this an incredible year.

💚The biggest news? We finally reached our fundraising target for the playground improvements! 🎉 This is a fantastic achievement, and we can’t wait to see the new playground become a reality for all of our children.

Here’s just some of what we’ve achieved this year:
✨ Grown from just 3 committee members to a full committee with a Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and School Liaison Partner.
✨ Built a team of 20+ amazing volunteers.
✨ Every event this year made a profit.
✨ Introduced new events including Grandparents’ Teas, the Valentine’s Disco, Wonder Bars and a monthly Tuck Shop.

🚀 Looking ahead to 2026–27, our goals include:
• Completing our Gift Aid registration.
• Installing a PTFA multipurpose use shed.
• Gaining Sponsorship
• Applying for grants and funding opportunities.
• Supporting even more projects across the school.
• Growing our PTFA community by welcoming more volunteers.
• Continuing to work openly, honestly, and transparently with our school community.

🌈 The sky really is the limit! We have so many exciting ideas for the year ahead and can’t wait to continue making a difference together.

We’ll be busy over the summer planning our Start of Year BBQ, and we’re looking forward to seeing the playground works completed and officially opened for our children to enjoy.

Finally, thank you once again for your continued support. As a registered charity, everything we achieve is only possible because of our amazing school community. Every penny raised, every hour volunteered, and every event attended helps create opportunities and experiences for all of our children.

☀️ Have a wonderful, safe, and relaxing six-week summer holiday. Good luck to our Year 6 leavers!! We hope you all enjoy a well-deserved break, and we look forward to seeing you in September.

We’re now in need of wool donations please to help keep our amazing knitters and crocheters busy.
