Yesterday, Year 4 Monet swapped the classroom for the historic heart of the Potteries with a fantastic trip to Middleport Pottery!
The children became local historians for the day, exploring how iconic Stoke-on-Trent pottery was transported along the canals during the Victorian era. They even got to step right inside a real, giant bottle oven to see where the magic used to happen! ๐ฎ๐ฅ

On Friday, our Year 3 Van Gogh class went on a fantastic trip to the Apedale Heritage Centre! The children had a brilliant time stepping back in time, exploring the underground coal mine, and discovering local history in the museum. ๐โจ

We have some exciting news to share with you.
A group of our Year 6 pupils went to Angel Square on Friday to compete in the Maths Olympics alongside lots of other Trust Primaries.
It was a fierce battle but we are very proud to announce that our team achieved first place ๐๐๐. They have returned with big smiles and a beautiful trophy for our cabinet which is filling up very quickly!
This has been a fantastic opportunity for the children and as always they demonstrated our Co-op Values. A big thank you to Mrs Miah and Mr Leonard for taking the children to Manchester and supporting them all the way!

Nursey enjoyed a special vist from Rent a Beast last week.
The children got to see, touch and learn about lots of different types of minibeasts.
