Course Overview

Fashion at Staffordshire University will equip you with a skill set ready for the fashion industry. You will develop your creative conceptual thinking, as well as gaining a real understanding of commercial design. This will be achieved by:

* Practical and technical skills in fashion design, garment construction and CAD, alongside an underpinning of theory.

* Live industry projects, competitions & study trips.

* Collaborations with other courses, such as photography and film, to broaden your knowledge and develop strong team working skills.

* Internships to gain hands on experience and to enhance your CV.

* Specialist permanent staff as well as industry based visiting lecturers and guest speakers, to enrich your learning, from a diverse perspective.

A fantastic time recently celebrating a fantastic exhibition put together by featuring some of our fantastic student work. Opportunities like this for our students to explore, connect and create without limitations are so important. The students worked incredibly hard and enjoyed the brief immensely. The exhibition continues to run and we highly recommend a visit.
