❤️ First Aid & Kindness in Action! ❤️

This week, Year One have been diving into British Red Cross First Aid Champions resources to learn about self-care, helping others, and essential first aid skills! 🩹✨

Our children explored key coping strategies, discussed why first aid matters, and practiced 8 vital first aid skills. We are so proud of their thoughtful discussions and enthusiasm for helping others! 💡👏

Year 4 have been hard at work as authors this week! ✍️✨

The children have loved writing Chapter 2 of The Firework Maker’s Daughter. They’ve been using thesauruses in lessons to explore new vocabulary and elevate their writing choices — and the results speak for themselves! 📖📚

🐾📚 A Very Special Visit! 📚🐾

Last week, we had a very special visit from Wendy and her lovely dog, Tut! 🐶

Tut was a wonderful listener as some of the children read a story to him. The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and loved having Tut as their very attentive audience! 📖🐾

🌟 Vocabulary Superstars in Year 4 🌟

In English today, our Year 4 children have been working on some fantastic key skills: using a dictionary and a thesaurus!

The children explored how to navigate both tools using alphabetical order. They are now feeling confident pulling these off the shelf independently during writing sessions to check word meanings, polish up their spelling and find ambitious synonyms to uplevel their vocabulary.

We are so impressed with their independence and enthusiasm - well done, superstars! 📚✨

🎸🎶 What a fantastic TTRS Day we’ve had! 🎶🎸

The children have had such a fun-filled day celebrating Times Tables Rock Stars! 🤘 They have been rocking their times tables, taking part in exciting challenges, games and activities, and showing off just how speedy their maths brains can be! 🧠⚡

There have been lots of smiles, laughter and a little bit of friendly competition along the way! 🏆✨ We are so proud of how enthusiastically everyone joined in and gave it their best. A huge well done to our amazing Year 3 rock stars! 🌟🎸

Now it’s time to keep practising those times tables and keep on rocking! 🤘🎵
