📖 What an exciting assembly we had last week! It was lovely to hear the children’s laughter in the hall! 😃
💫 Each teacher campaigned for their favourite author in the One Author One School assembly! The children then voted for their favourite author using a voting slip and a ballot box.
📖 The author with the most votes will then have a week dedicated to them, where every class will learn about a book from the winning author in English.
🥁 And we’re pleased to announce that the author with the most votes was… drumroll please… DAVID WALLIAMS! 🌟

Amazing Dads! 🔨
We want to say a massive thank you to all the dads, grandads and male role models who joined us for our EYFS Den Building Session to celebrate Father's Day!
⛺️ The children had an absolute blast working alongside you to create some truly spectacular shelters. From balancing branches to perfecting tarp-tying techniques, it was wonderful to see so much teamwork, creativity and laughter in our outdoor area.
🌲 Thank you for bringing your energy, your building skills and for making the session so memorable for the children. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and that you have a fantastic, well-deserved Father's Day weekend!

🐻🪑 After carefully selecting all of their materials last week, the children in Dalmatian class have been incredibly busy making their very own chairs for Baby Bear!
🪑 Using plenty of glue and tape to stick all the parts together, they brought their designs to life.
🧸The children absolutely impressed their teachers with their fantastic focus, determination, and independence throughout the entire task. We are so proud of their hard work!
🪑 Now for the final test... we can’t wait for our teddy bears to come and try them out!

🐧 This week Dinosaurs launched their new story ‘Penguin parcel’. They followed a trail of penguin pictures and watched penguin videos. Then they made their own penguin from 2D shapes.
After reading the story, they added to the working wall and created a story map.
🎵 They did a fun penguin dance too, check it out at home: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uf0uKmKwnKs
