Our U7’s were in action today in an exciting round of games in the 3vs3 format.

Plenty of duels, 1vs1’s, skills and goals scored as well defending duels and blocking attempts on goal

Charlie - always getting his body in front and stopping opposition from attacking

Mason - didn’t stop all game, plenty of attacking flair on show and lots of goals

Game week 5

All teams in action again with plenty of positives to take from individual and team performances

U8 Alfie - worked so hard in winning the ball back for his team, bagged 2 goals and worked incredibly hard

U10 Luke & Seb - Luke - fantastic effort and application throughout, brave in his duels and lead by example. Seb - grabbed an assist and put his body on the line when defending his goal.

U10 Blue Victor - covered every blade of grass today, battled for his team playing several positions putting the team first

U11 Jacob - competed and nullified several attacks in his 1vs1’s including stopping an almost certain goal with a last ditch tackle

U12 Carter - ice in his veins, calm and collected throughout. Link up & hold up play outstanding and an outrageous goal to add to an impressive display

U13 Nicholas - a constant threat on the top line, a well taken goal and caused the opposition several problems throughout the game.

Firsts Logan - continued his recent form with a solid performance at full back

🚨COACH APPRECIATION 💙

Coaching within grassroots can often be a thankless task - long evenings in all sorts of weather, managing minutes, supporting children outside of the actual game of football - you become much more than a coach you become a mentor, mediator, lace tying technician, psychologist, battering ram - you name it

Most coaches lose sleep over other people’s children trying to ensure every child is catered for, supported and valued - it is often a thankless task

Football can be a wonderful vehicle to support youth in society and when it comes to youth development, it is often a long, lonely, arduous and messy process

To receive the below message, is testament to the wonderful people we have developing children, people who care just as much about the child’s technical and tactical development but more so about their social and psychological development

Developers who put person first, footballer second - development always

Game week 4

All teams in action today and what a day it’s been for PCT - goals galore, clean sheets, individual excellence and teamwork

U8 Emmett - possessed in his pressing, calm in possession and covered every blade of grass today

U10 George - goals, assists, dominant in 1vs1’s and brave in his duels. Lead by example today

U10 Blue Harry & Vinnie - Harry was a thorn in the oppositions side today with his energy in his press, assists and goals to add to an impressive performance. Vinnie - just as impressive leading the line and changed the game in the last 10 minutes with a superb hat trick

U11 Tommy - goals - including a worldie, assists, link up play, combining with others and even playing out of position to help the team

U12 Jude - was absolutely everywhere today! Unbelievable skills and footwork to add to a display that was incredibly impressive all over the pitch

U13 Jack - added an impressive goal to a dogged and battling performance, dominating his duels in and out of possession

Firsts Gabriel - an absolute rock at the back today, dominant in duels and pivotal in the team keeping a clean sheet and unbeaten in the league
