Blossoms Pumpkin Patch

Blossoms have enjoyed exploring the pumpkin patch and investigated the pumpkins using their senses.

The children then explored the inside of the pumpkins exploring the different textures. Pumpkin pieces and seeds were placed into zip-lock bags so the children could safely squeeze, feel, and investigate them.

🦉✨ Our Wise Owls Outdoor Adventures! ✨🦉

Today, our Wise Owls have been busy exploring our outdoor areas and having lots of fun! 🌿

The children explored our dinosaur-themed tuff spot, using their senses to investigate their surroundings and feel the different textures of the leaves. 🦕🍃

We also had lots of fun getting messy in our mud kitchen, digging, scooping and exploring the mud! The children enjoyed climbing on the climbing frame before racing down the big slide — “Weeee!” 🛝🤎

It was a wonderful day full of curiosity, sensory exploration, physical activity and lots of smiles!

Well done, Wise Owls! You have been amazing little explorers today! 🦉💚✨

Outdoor Water Play 💦

Our Caterpillar children enjoyed exploring water play outdoors, wearing their wet suits and wellies as they explored the different ways water could be moved and used.

They explored the water with large teapots, guttering and jugs, pouring, filling and moving water from one place to another.

There was lots of excitement as the children explored the water, including jumping into the water and enjoying the splashes. This provided opportunities to develop their physical skills, coordination and confidence while having lots of fun outdoors.

Our Caterpillar children have had a very busy day today!
They have enjoyed exploring our creative room, painting on cling film with different resources including paint brushes and rollers🎨.
They have also enjoyed using foam soap and water to wash the dinosaurs 🦕.
And finally they have also enjoyed exploring the outdoors, using their gross motor skills to climb the slide, push them selves along in the cars and they even went on a Nature walk, exploring the other outdoor areas, using magnifying glasses to look for different patterns in the leaves and for different insects that they could see.
What a lovely day 😊
