We are completely overwhelmed by the love and support we received today, thank you so much to all the staff and parents past and present who came to nursery this lunch time. Thank you for all the beautiful flowers, gifts, heartfelt messages in the cards and much needed wine and gin.
We will be forever grateful to you all, although the doors are shut, we will always be one big Bobbles family.
Thank you will never be enough. ❤️

Good morning,
Firstly, we would like to thank you all for your understanding and patience during this incredibly difficult time. Furthermore, we are so appreciative to our Bobbles family for the heartfelt messages since we announced the closure of the nursery. We understand that it has left you in a tough situation with regards to childcare but please know, we did all we could to keep the doors open, we asked for support but were turned down at every avenue.
We will be in nursery today between 11am and 1pm for parents come and collect their children’s belongings.
Please use the main entrance and call the nursery on 01782 745042 to let us know you’ve arrived.
If you are unable to make it today, do not worry, we will be organising a further day if items are not collected.
Many thanks
Nigel, Carol and Becky Bamford

Today in teddies we have been sticking and gluing which was a child choice activity using natural resources to create our autumn pictures. We have been discussing the different colours of leaves and how they fall from the trees.
Sebby and savannah enjoyed looking at the leaves and shouting green.
Sonny enjoyed using the sticks to spread the glue across his paper, instead of using a glue stick. Clever thinking sonny!

Today in rainbows we have been very busy getting creative and messy making some spooky cats and spiders all in preparation for Halloween. The children discussed what they want to dress up as for Halloween. They also discussed how many legs a spider has. 🕷️🕸️🐱

Good afternoon Bobbles day nursery Grayson speaking, how can I help?? 🤣 Grayson has taken an interest in Tweenie's telephone today and kept trying to reach for it and noticed when it rang. To encourage this interest (in a way that kept our phone lines open 😂) we provided Grayson with his own phone where he could press the buttons and answer it to his hearts content! Phones are great for children to develop their speech and role play with their peers. They also help children to understand that a conversation consists of listening as well as taking turns with talking.

Grayson, Brody and Braydan have been helping Sarah this week by sorting out the clean washing. They helped to 'fold' and put away the clean face cloths. They took it in turns placing them in and had to have a turn each at opening and closing the drawers. Great helping boys, thank you very much 👌👍 I'll be sure to give you a shout when we've got some more to put away! Allowing our children to help with simple jobs is great for their independence and gives their self esteem and confidence a fantastic boost too! 😀

This afternoon in rainbows we have been creating some of our very own spooky ghosts using our feet to make footprint ghosts. The children discussed how many toes they have and how many eyes the ghosts need. After creating their ghosts the children had the opportunity to develop their health and self care skills by washing their own feet in the baby bath. Ares got a little bit carried away and decided he wanted a bath in the water and play with the rubber ducks 👻🤣🛁

In Teddies we invite children to explore independently and learn through exploration.
We always suggest sending your child to nursery in clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. After all, a paint stained T shirt can still be a clean one, so wear it again and again.
Aprons are always available, but we will never make a child to wear one as this will then interrupt their learning or them wanting to join in.
Savannah has loved doing her favourite activity today, painting a beautiful picture for mummy and daddy 🥰
When Savannah gets stuck in she ‘gets stuck in’ 😬
When she has an itch on her face, obviously she has to itch it no matter what she has on her hands🤷♀️😁
Once finished it was a quick clean up in the sink and a change of clothes and ready to start another activity

Today in Teddies we have used our natural resources to make marks and do some leaf printing using sticks as paint brushes.
We have also been building towers using the different size boxes using our good understanding to stack them in the correct order then counting 1 to 5 as well as naming the different colours and taking turns to stack them in order and learning to share and to be kind.
