🎓 Year 9 enjoyed an inspiring visit to the University of Staffordshire today, gaining a valuable insight into university life.

Students explored the impressive new student accommodation village, including the Catalyst building and its outstanding modern facilities, before taking part in a range of engaging taster sessions.

A fantastic opportunity for our students to experience life at the university recently named 'Best Modern University 2026' by the Daily Mail University Guide.

Calling all students to audition for the next musical performance at OMERA - Into The Woods Jr.

The musical centres on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse and end up changed forever .

Please see Mrs E. James for further information regarding casting auditons. A letter has also been sent home via Arbor that includes full details.

⚽️🎥Today our Year 8 and Year 9 students visited the Manchester City Etihad Stadium. They experienced the full stadium tour, which consisted of exploring the home and away changing facilities, a pitch side view, and a press conference with Erling Haaland!

Next, they tested their communication, role play and interviewing skills in the sports journalist workshop. Finally, a visit to the club shop was enjoyed by all. Overall, a fabulous day was had! ⚽️🎥
