On Friday, The Inspirational Learning Group, partnered with Air Products, delivered a STEM project day for all of our Y7 students. This involved them being in teams working together to create a sustainable town, thinking about what company they could partner with and designing all of the town's features. Students built on their communication, team work and presentation skills, designing their town from the ground up including their own logo and town plan.

Year 10 Health & Social Care students were welcomed by Jill Salt and her amazing team who delivered sessions in nursing, social work and human factors alongside an insightful tour of the University of Staffordshire. We even got some practical skills in with a bandage competition! Many thanks for inspiring us! Mrs Stewart.

We're proud to share that we've been awarded the School Games Mark Silver Award! A key criteria is that 50% of the school population are participating in at least 2 hours of physical activity or sport a fortnight through active lunchtimes, intra-school and inter-school competitions and extra-curricular activities.

Mrs Plant's Year 10 class have been studying Chromatography. 10M tested different ink mixtures, and separated the mixtures. Students then calculated the Rf factor of each component of the ink. Well done to all involved!

Miss Campbell was delighted to accompany two of our student Heads of Year to the penultimate 6 Towns, 1 Voice Youth Council meeting of the year. The students spoke thoughtfully about ways to improve life for young people in Stoke-on-Trent and provided valuable feedback on the progress made since the previous meeting.
