Dear Parents/Carers, tomorrow is the last day of our school academic year.
Students on the trips to Cinebowl and Alton Towers please refer to your letters for the return times of the trips.
Any students remaining in school the finish time is 2.00 pm. Students will be allowed to come in non-school uniform.
In terms of non-school uniform, we ask that students do not:
• wear piercings other than those that are accepted by the current Academy uniform policy (this is for health and safety reasons).
• change the colour of their hair or hair style and remain in line with Academy policy.
• wear inappropriate shoes for walking around the Academy building.
• wear revealing clothing, including crop tops.
• wear caps or hats.
• wear any clothing with images or slogans that may be deemed as offensive.
If your child does not follow these standards, you will be contacted and your child may be isolated.
We hope to have an enjoyable and educational end to the academic year!

Our year 8 students were all given the opportunity to visit an outdoor Sculpture Park to experience large scale artworks from world renowned artists such as Damien Hirst , Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Elizabeth Frink, in 500 acres of beautiful parkland.
They were all incredible even in the 33-degree heat!! This is the first time our students have visited Yorkshire Sculpture Park and as it was so successful we hope to visit again next year.

☀️📱 Stay Safe Online This Summer! 🌴💻
As school breaks up for the summer, children may be spending more time online. Here are some simple reminders to help keep them safe:
✅ Think before you share personal information
✅ Keep accounts private and use strong passwords
✅ Only chat with people you know in real life
✅ Be kind online and report bullying
✅ Tell a trusted adult if something online makes you feel worried or uncomfortable
Let's work together to make sure children have a fun, positive and safe summer both online and offline! 🌟
