🤩JULY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH🤩

Our employee of the month for July is...Rachel!

I don't always write my own post for employee of the month, but I am truly grateful for all of the votes from my team this month. The whole team works so hard each month and for them to vote for me for supporting them truly means a lot!

Building my team and supporting them as much as I possibly can is incredibly important to me, and I will continue to work hard and support them any way that I can! Just as I will continue to work hard and support every single family that comes through our doors!

🤩JUNE EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH🤩

Our employee of the month for June is...Jenn!

Jenn is our Toddler Room leader and works hard to bring exciting and interesting learning opportunities to the children.
Last month Jenn was voted as employee of the month by her team for:

- making the Toddler Room look inviting and appealing during physical activity week, creating a fab football goal for the children to try out! ⚽️
- creating some lovely tuff trays for the children to explore
- supporting a student with completing an activity in the Toddler Room
- thinking of exciting activities for Around the World Week, such as Greek constellation patterns and decorating terracotta pots.🌍

🥵🌞HOT WEATHER🌞🥵

As many of you will have seen, next week there are predicted temperatures of 33-34°c.
We will be doing everything we can to keep the children as cool as possible whilst at Nursery.

To keep children as cool as possible we will have a few things in place for the rest of the week:

💦 there will be lots of water play and ice play for the children so please pack plenty of spare clothing in the children's bags.

👚please dress your children in cool clothing, light cotton items are best.

🧢please make sure your child has a sunhat in nursery.

🌳outdoor play will start earlier in the day so children may be out in the garden as early as 8am, it will be far too hot for them to be out in the gardens until later on in the afternoon.

👩🏼‍🏫staff will be dressing in their own clothes to stay cool, so there will be no uniforms this week.

We will be assessing the situation over the week and keeping the children as comfortable as possible in the heat.

🤩MAY EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH🤩

Our May employee of the month is...Laila!

Many of you will already know that Laila is based in our Toddler Room and works incredibly hard, especially supporting children who have additional needs ❤️

Laila was voted for this month by her team for:
- helping them out with odd jobs around the nursery.
- cheering a staff member up when they needed it.

Huge well done to Laila! 🌟

Thursday 4th June will be our Summer and Graduation photos! 🎓
If you would like your child to have their photos taken but they do not attend on a Thursday, then please feel free to pop down between 10:00am and 10:30am.

If your child attends on a Thursday and you would like to send a separate outfit for your child to have photos taken in then please do, we will get them changed ready for their photos.

🤩APRIL EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH!🤩

Our April employee of the month is...Kaci!

Kaci works in our Baby Room and has a great bond with the babies in there. She works hard to think of exciting and imaginative activities for the babies to explore and often makes the activities involve something sensory to support their learning.
Kaci has been voted for by her team for:

- helping another room out with resources for their theme of the week
- supporting in other rooms and spending time with the children in the other rooms
- being a big support to the staff in her room
- helping out at our other setting in Dresden

A huge well done Kaci! ⭐️

Just a reminder to all parents that we are closed on Monday 4th May due to the bank holiday. We will be open again on Tuesday 5th May.

We will also be closed on Monday 25th May due to the bank holiday. We will reopen on Tuesday 26th May.

Well done to our Katelyn who has recently completed her Level 3 qualification!

Katelyn has been working hard in our Preschool room and has worked very hard to pass her Level 3.
A huge well done to Katelyn, this is such an achievement and you should be so pleased with yourself! ⭐️

🤩MARCH EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH🤩

Our March employee of the month is Charl!
Charl works hard in our Preschool room and is one of our senior members of staff. She was voted for by her peers for:

- always knowing where things are
- for giving support and guidance to a member of her team
- helping to tidy up our front garden and give new ideas on what to do to spruce it up!
- putting lots of effort into the Mother's Day cards.
