We would like to wish all the children the very best for their iSingPOP concert this evening 🎶⭐.

The children have been excitedly talking about it and practising their songs over the last few weeks while in my care 🎤😊. They are all looking forward to performing and sharing what they have learned.

Good luck to everyone taking part! I hope you all have a wonderful time and enjoy every moment of your special performance 🎵✨🌟.

Our little ones had been waiting a long time to see the fruit growing on the trees in our garden 🍎🍐🍒🌳. One of our little ones spotted a plum and was so excited to tell everyone what he had seen, shouting, “Plums!” 😊💜.

We then explored the garden together and found cherries 🍒, gooseberries 🫐, apples 🍎, pears 🍐, and plums 💜. The children enjoyed looking at the different fruits and talking about their colours, shapes, and sizes 👀✨.

We discussed how fruit is good for our health and helps us grow strong and healthy 💪🍎🌿. It was a lovely opportunity to learn about nature, healthy eating, and the wonderful things that grow in our garden 🌳💛😊

Our little ones really enjoyed having a teddy bear picnic this week

After school, the children found a caterpillar on the way back from school 🐛😊. They were very excited to observe it closely and we talked about the caterpillar’s wellbeing, including what it needs to grow and stay healthy 🌿🍃.

Some of the children began retelling the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar 📖🐛, sharing their favourite parts and discussing the story with each other 💬✨. They were so excited to talk about what the caterpillar ate and how it eventually transformed into a beautiful butterfly 🦋.

It was lovely to see the children engaging in conversations, sharing their knowledge, and learning through a real-life experience 🌿💛😊.

Yesterday, we enjoyed having honey on toast with our little ones 🍯🍞😊. They really enjoyed tasting the honey and exploring how sticky and runny it was 👐✨. It was a lovely sensory experience for the children.

After school, we placed the beehive we made the other day onto Tree 🌳🐝. The children enjoyed looking at the beehive and had lovely discussions about bees, their wellbeing, and their feelings 💛🌼.

We also made a queen bee 👑🐝 and some fuzzy bees 🐝✨, which the children were very excited about and enjoyed creating together 🎨😊.

It was a fun and engaging day filled with creativity, conversations, and learning through play 💬🌿✨

We have been learning about bees 🐝🌼, where they live, and their wellbeing 🌿.

Yesterday we made a beehive craft 🐝🏠, and the little ones really enjoyed sticking the bees onto the hive 😊✂️. We talked about how a bee’s home is called a beehive and discussed how important bees are to our environment 🌸🍯.

The children also enjoyed singing songs about bees 🎶🐝 and joining in with the actions 😊👏.

It was a lovely day of learning, creativity, and fun for everyone 💛✨

Today we celebrated David Attenborough’s 100th birthday 🎉🌍🦁. We marked the occasion by reading different animal books 📚🐘 and wearing a variety of animal masks 🐯🦓🎭.

The children were especially interested in the book Handa’s Surprise 🍎📖 and really enjoyed listening to the story 😊✨.

Our after-school children then took part in a role-play activity based on Handa’s Surprise 🎭🧺. They all had great fun using their imagination, acting out the characters, and retelling the story together 💬🌟💛

Today our little ones really enjoyed listening to the story of The Three Little Pigs 🐷📖✨. Some of the children were able to repeat parts of the story and join in with familiar words and phrases 😊.

They had lots of fun pretending to be the little pigs and the big bad wolf 🐷🐺. The children really loved the role-play activity, using their imagination and interacting with each other 💬🎭✨.

It was lovely to see their confidence, communication, and creativity grow through storytelling and play 💛😊
