At the end of last half term the Department for Education wrote to all headteachers confirming the end of the PE and sports premium funding that schools have been receiving since 2010. To support schools around this are offering a transition support package that can be started this Summer term (or from the Autumn term onwards) that will help them over the full 2026/27 academic year.
