Last week, students at Blessed William Howard Catholic High School celebrated receiving their fantastic GCSE and vocational results. The day was filled with joy and pride as we looked back on the achievements of this wonderful year group.

We are so proud of our Year 11 students.
Painsley Catholic College is celebrating an exceptional set of GCSE results. 90% achieved a standard pass (grade 4+) in English and 86% in maths, with 82% gaining passes in both subjects. An amazing 38% of all grades were at the top 7 - 9 level, reflecting the outstanding education at Painsley.

Painsley MAC is proud to celebrate the excellent A Level and vocational results achieved by students at Blessed William Howard Catholic High School. This year’s cohort has demonstrated exceptional ambition and dedication, with the vast majority securing places at leading universities or on their chosen courses.
We are particularly pleased with outstanding performances across English Language and Literature, Mathematics, Religious Studies, History, vocational courses, and Art, as well as continued success in the Extended Project Qualification, where many achieved A–A* grades. This year also marks the first results for Cambridge Technical Sport Studies, with all students attaining Distinction or Distinction*.
Our congratulations go to all students, including high achievers such as Jake Appleton, Scarlett Atkins, Jacob Lakin, and Amelia Sutton, whose accomplishments reflect the talent and hard work across the school community. Cardinal Griffin Catholic College is proud to share this year’s exceptional A Level and Level 3 Applied General results. The Year 13 students have achieved a notable increase in A*-B grades, with 100% securing their first-choice university places.
Principal Hermione Gibson praised their determination, resilience, and academic excellence, noting that many are progressing to Russell Group universities including Birmingham, Bristol, Liverpool, and York, while others are pursuing apprenticeships, employment, or gap years.

This year, Sixth Form students at Painsley Catholic College have achieved an outstanding 100% pass rate across all pathways, with 30% of grades at A-A* - above the national average - and exceptional performances in T Levels.
