It’s been another incredible week at PQA Stoke-on-Trent ✨

Here’s everything we got up to:

💃 Musical Theatre - Work continued towards our in-house sharing on the 17th. The next step is our whole academy number, Thriller!

🎭 Comedy & Drama - Blue and Green continued their work on melodrama, whilst Red group completed a one-off practitioner workshop.

🎬 Film & TV - With their ideas finalised, the students moved into rehearsal. Keep an eye out for an email in the next few weeks containing the shoot dates and costume requirements!

Choosing a performing arts school is a big decision. With so many options available, and the unknown of what happens when you walk through the doors for that very first session, it's completely natural to feel a little nervous. In fact, parents tell us this every week, and children often feel those first-day butterflies too.

That's why we've created a blog designed to help you and your child feel confident, prepared, and excited for your free PQA session. From what to expect on the day to simple ways to help your child get the most from their experience.

✨ Read our latest blog and take the guesswork out of your first visit.

Meet the Principal!

Name: Carrick

Joined PQA: May 2011 🦖

Favourite PQA memory: PQA Stoke's incredible West End debut ✨️

Favourite PQA module: Comedy & Drama 🎭

Fun fact: I've worked at 7 different academies!

Outside of PQA: I teach Drama and enjoy writing and performing. I like to run, listen to Taylor Swift and relax with my golden retrevier.
