📚✨ Mystery Story Readers in Nursery! ✨📚

Yesterday, we had a very special surprise in Nursery… our mystery story readers arrived! 🤫📖

We were delighted to welcome some wonderful Year 6 pupils from Cheadle Primary School, who came along to share their love of reading with our children 💛

They read their stories beautifully, with such confidence and expression, and our Nursery children were absolutely captivated. 🥰 They sat so beautifully, listened carefully and were completely engaged from beginning to end.

A huge thank you to our fantastic Year 6 readers for being such wonderful role models and inspiring a love of stories in our little ones. 🌟📚

As Roald Dahl Day was celebrated on 13th September, our Bears have been joining in the fun this week by exploring the wonderful story of The Enormous Crocodile! 🐊✨

The children have enjoyed listening to the story, talking about the characters and exploring the mischievous crocodile through lots of fun and creative activities. We’ve been busy using our imaginations, getting creative and bringing the story to life! 🎨📖

What a wonderful week it has been in our Cubs and Koalas room! 🐻🐨💛

There have been so many lovely smiles, lots of beautiful laughter and an amazing amount of creativity happening throughout the room! 🎨🖌️✨

Our little ones have been busy exploring, creating, discovering and having fun together. From messy masterpieces to imaginative play, every day has been filled with opportunities to express themselves and let their imaginations shine. 🌟

It has been so lovely to see the children enjoying themselves, sharing special moments with their friends and filling the room with their happy giggles and wonderful ideas. 🥰

What a joy it has been to watch our Cubs and Koalas learn, laugh and create together! 💕🐾

Today, our Bears have been exploring the wonderful world of minibeasts! 🔍🕷️

They have been discovering the different bugs that live in our garden and talking about how these tiny creatures help our outdoor environment.

To give our little garden visitors a cosy place to stay, the Bears worked together to create their very own ‘Bug Hotel’! 🏨🐜🌱

🌟 What an incredible first week back! 🌟

We have had such a wonderful start to our new term! 💛 It has been lovely welcoming some new faces to our nursery family — both new children and new members of staff. We also had some exciting new outdoor resources over the summer holidays too that the children have been exploring all week 🥰

This week, we have been getting to know one another through our ‘All About Me’ topic. We have been busy exploring all the things that make us unique and special! 👧🧒
🔹 We explored our physical features, talking about our eyes, hair, skin and other things that make us who we are.
🔹 We talked about the homes we live in, sharing what makes our homes special to us. 🏡
🔹 We shared stories about our immediate families and pets, celebrating the people and animals who are important in our lives 🐶🐱👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

It has been a fantastic week filled with new friendships, lots of conversations, exciting learning and plenty of smiles! We are so proud of how well everyone has settled in and are already looking forward to everything the rest of the term has in store 🌈✨

💙 A VERY SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS! 💙

We are absolutely delighted to congratulate our Director of Learning, Becky, on the safe arrival of her beautiful baby boy, Leo, who was born in June!

Leo is a wonderful little brother to Levi, and we’re sure he is already being showered with lots of love and cuddles.

We’re so pleased to hear that Becky and baby Leo are doing well and wish the whole family lots of happiness as they enjoy this very special time together.

We are absolutely delighted to congratulate our Deputy Manager, Sharna, on the safe arrival of her beautiful baby girl Skyla!

Now that the heatwave has passed and the weather is a little cooler, we enjoyed a lovely walk to the park and back. The children had lots of fun exploring, running around and making the most of the fresh air and open space. 🥰
