🌱🌼 Our little gardeners have been hard at work! 🌼🌱

This week, the children have been busy planting beautiful new flowers and plants in our sensory garden. They carefully explored the different textures, colours and scents while learning how to care for living things by watering, planting and nurturing them.

Gardening is a wonderful way for children to develop their curiosity about the natural world, build fine motor skills through digging and planting, and work together as a team. It also encourages patience and responsibility as they watch their plants grow over time.

🌍☀️ Our Summer Fun adventures are officially underway! ☀️🏝️

This week, our topics were Holidays & Around the World. The children have loved exploring different countries and types of holidays through fun activities, creative crafts, stories and imaginative play. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement as they discovered new places and shared their experiences about their own holidays!

🐻✨ The Magic Story Box has been opened! ✨🐻

Over the past two weeks, our Bears Room children were so excited to discover the story of Brian the Smelly Bear hidden inside our Magic Story Box! 📚

As we shared Brian's adventure, the children enjoyed listening to the story, joining in with familiar phrases, talking about the characters' feelings and discussing why it is important to keep ourselves clean and healthy. They also shared their own experiences of daily routines such as washing their hands, brushing their teeth and having a bath.

The story provided wonderful opportunities to support learning across the EYFS curriculum, helping the children to develop their communication and language skills, build a love of literacy, strengthen their personal, social and emotional development by exploring kindness and self-care, and spark their imaginations through storytelling and creative play.

We can't wait to see what exciting adventure our Magic Story Box brings next! 🌟📖

💙 We had a wonderful time celebrating our Father’s Day Stay & Play at nursery! 💙

Dads, grandads and other special people in our children’s lives joined us for a fun-filled session of crafts and activities.

The children loved sharing their learning space, creating special keepsakes and spending quality time together. There were lots of smiles, laughter and proud moments all around as families got creative side by side.
