Marye Humphreys School of Dance

On Tuesday we made the trip to the RAD in London for the last ever Marye Humphrey's
School of Dance ballet exam. 🇬🇧💂🏼🩰

We're so proud of the girls who were a pleasure to teach and represent everything the school stood for; hardworking and passionate. ❤️

Although it is sad that this marks the final event for the school, we are glad to see it end on such a positive note.

We look forward to receiving their results in a few weeks time!

ANNOUNCEMENT 📣

We are aware that many of you have questions about the dance school following the summer break. After many long conversations and many tears, it is with a heavy heart that the difficult decision to close the Marye Humphreys School of Dance has been made*.

The dance school has been an outlet for many, a learning hub, a place to socialise and grow and words cannot capture the true essence of the school and all it, its staff and Marye have done for young people in our local community.

After 50 years in the dance school industry, the decision to close has not been one that has been made lightly. Marye would like to thank all of you for your unwavering support over the years but especially over the last few months.

Mary, Becca and Sam would also like to thank you all for your ongoing commitment, it has been a pleasure to teach your children.

The dance school could not have been what it was without all of you and we will forever be grateful. ❤️
