That’s a wrap on my lovely Year 11 and A-Level students!
As some of my students move on to the next stage of their education, I now have availability and will be admitting people from my waiting list.
The six-week summer break can be a great opportunity to get ahead before the next academic year. If you’re interested in English or Psychology tuition, feel free to send me a message for more information. 😊

Beyond touched this week as I say goodbye to some unbelievably lovely families. Their words mean more than they’ll know, and their gifts are truly treasured. Thank you!🥲💛

It’s that time of year where I begin saying goodbye to some of my truly lovely students. I’ve had the privilege of meeting and working with wonderful young people, and I wish every one of them the very best. This particular student’s progress has been remarkable, and I know she will have a very bright future!
A special mention also goes to the students’ families for all of their support throughout the year/s. Thank you so much to each and every one of you. ❤️

A superb poem by a year 8 student! Our lesson focused on re-writing The Tale of the Pied Piper, from the perspective of him returning after being wronged.

Lovely news from a Year 10 parent 😊 We’ve been working together since Year 9, and his consistent effort each week is clearly reflected in recent assessments. A big well done!

An excellent piece of analysis from a Lord of the Flies essay! This Year 11 student was getting commendable grades, but has worked hard to push herself even further, attaining a 7 in her recent English mock. Very proud of her excellent achievements 😊

More great news from a terrific student who recently completed her GCSE Eduqas mock. This lovely girl has dyslexia and consistently pushes herself. This shows in her brilliant achievement of a grade 6 in persuasive writing! A huge well done, and looking forward to your final results☺️

Really proud tutor moment 🤍 I’ve had two lovely pieces of progress from this week that I wanted to share (anonymously):
One lovely student has worked their way from a Grade 2 to a Grade 6 in their English mock paper! We’ve worked so hard together and I’m thrilled that they can see all they’re capable of.
Another brilliant student, who also started with me at a Grade 2, has just achieved a Grade 7 in a creative writing mock! I’m so overjoyed at their progress and the effort they put in every week to push themselves.
This time of year is particularly rewarding, as the consistent effort and dedication students put into their weekly lessons shows so clearly in their results🥰
