📢 Summer improvements at Cicely Haughton School 🚧✨

We're delighted to share that a major improvement project at Cicely Haughton School has now been completed.

Over the summer break, the school's main car park has been fully reconstructed and resurfaced, creating a safer, smarter and more welcoming entrance for pupils, families, staff and visitors.

The project included:
✅ New surfacing
✅ New kerbing
✅ Improved drainage
✅ A full rebuild to ensure long-term durability

A huge thank you to Simon and our Estates Team for successfully delivering this project during the summer holidays, as well as Dawkes & Co for their excellent work throughout.

🏗️ Summer works are well underway across Manor Hall Academy Trust! 🏫

While our pupils enjoy a well-earned summer break, teams across the Trust have been hard at work delivering a range of improvement projects to ensure our schools continue to provide safe, welcoming and inspiring environments for learning.

One of our biggest projects this summer is the major roof replacement at Rocklands, where significant progress has already been made following a busy first week of site setup and scaffolding. This important investment will help tackle long-standing issues and ensure pupils and staff benefit from a warm, dry and fit-for-purpose learning environment for years to come.

Across all of our schools, summer is often the busiest time of year for estates teams and contractors. It may look a little messy right now, with scaffolding, construction work and plenty of disruption behind the scenes, but these projects are all part of our commitment to creating the very best environments for children and young people to learn, grow and thrive.

A huge thank you to our Estates Team, contractors and partners for their hard work and dedication throughout the summer programme. We look forward to sharing more updates as the transformations continue! 👏
