We recently had the pleasure of taking part in a Peer Study Review with St. Bart's Multi-Academy Trust - and it’s clear the impact is still being felt.

It was a fantastic opportunity for colleagues to connect, share ideas and reflect on practice, with many highlighting how valuable it was to realise just how much we have in common.

🌞 Exciting news from across our Trust!

Oakfield Lodge has become our first school to have solar panels installed and the impact is already being seen.
The system is expected to save 22,615 kWh every year, which is enough to:
🏠 Power around 6 family homes
💡 Keep a lightbulb on for over 25 years
📺 Run a TV continuously for 170 years
It’s a fantastic step towards reducing our carbon footprint while freeing up funds to support our pupils and classrooms.
And we’re not stopping here - more schools are next!

🎩🏍️ Dressed sharp. Riding with purpose. 🏍️🎩

On Sunday 17th May, John Skelding from Cicely Haughton School will be taking part in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, astride his Triumph and suited up in full tweed, goggles and all - riding alongside thousands across the world to raise funds and awareness for men’s mental health and prostate cancer, on behalf of Movember.

Men still die, on average, 6 years earlier than women, often from causes that are preventable. Too many men are struggling in silence - and that’s why this ride matters.

If anyone at MHAT (or friends and family) can spare a few pounds to support this incredible cause, John would be hugely grateful. Every donation helps keep the conversation going and supports the men we love to live longer, happier, healthier lives.
