At the WKU British championship at Wolverhampton yesterday.
We have a new British champion 🏆 Oscar, first in his own category, then silver in a category above in kumite. Followed by bronze medal in kata.
Henry got silver in his own category in kumite,then bronze in a category above.
Many congratulations you deserve all the recognition for the training that you do.

Many thanks to 27 students, including six belts that trained on the all grades course today.
Topic of the two hour sessions was impact, technique, speed, and focus, using kata, focus mitts, and strike shield 🛡
Also, we focused on self-defence and competition sparring.

Hi everyone, Fantastic news again from Henry and Oscar's WKU interclub competition yesterday at Swadlincote.
The boys won a total of one gold and three silver medals, plus Oscar was one of the best competitors of the day.
This is fantastic news for them and us as a club.
We should all be very proud of them.

The boys have done amazingly - 6 medals - 3 each - a medal in everything they entered!

Henry:
Gold 🥇 - Kumite 🥊 (he really fought hard for the medal - ended up with a sore jaw, punch to the eye, and winded!)
Silver 🥈 - Kata 12-14 advanced (brown/black)
Bronze 🥉 - Kata 15-17 advanced!

Oscar:
Bronze 🥉 - Kumite (so close, after 1 min 30 seconds it was down to first to win a point, the one who beat Oscar went on to win gold, some points weren't given to Oscar when they should have been)
Gold 🥇 - Kata 9-11 advanced
Bronze 🥉- Kata 12-14 advanced (so the boys were 2nd and 3rd in this category 👏)
