• MP4 audio and video files specifically recorded by Alan for this purpose.
• All slides used in Alan’s presentation synchronised with the audio file for ease of use.
• The handout for each training course to be copied for as many staff as necessary, as often as necessary.
• All referenced resources (games etc) needed for each training session.

Each session contains the content from Alan’s trademark useful, practical whole school training sessions, but the beauty about this way of delivering training is that it fits in with you and your staff’s unique needs. Essentially, the packages become YOUR property once downloaded and can be used (within the school of purchase) as many times as required. Whole school, whole day training, refresher sessions, twilights, the choice is yours!
We asked a London Headteacher to explain how she had used the training across her two schools with two different training requirements:
“We have used Alan Peat's digital training materials in two different ways. In one school, we had used Alan's strategies for many years as Alan did some in school training for us. We needed a refresher due to staff mobility and bought the digital training package. We spent an INSET day on it, AM - listening to Alan and PM then teachers planning their next unit of work to include the strategies. As there is a lot of talk and you don't see Alan I thought it would be hard to stay focused however the teachers were ok with it. I missed Alan's humour and stories though! The English Lead had watched it all before and knew when to stop, get discussion going and when to do a task.”
“In the second school, the approaches were new to all except the English Lead and the format was pretty much the same. The teachers picked up the ideas really well and started using them immediately. The good thing about having the digital package is that you can then go back to things in further staff meetings and replay what Alan said so that helps with clarity and remembering things. We had a couple of follow up staff meetings in the second school to iron out any inconsistencies of practice.”
