💤 SAFE SLEEP AT NURTURED CHILDCARE 💛💙

The safety and wellbeing of every child in our care is always our highest priority. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment, we have reviewed and updated our Safer Sleep practices in line with the latest guidance for early years settings.

Our updated guidance covers important areas including:

🛏️ Appropriate sleep spaces for babies and children
👶 Babies placed on their backs to sleep
🧸 Keeping sleep spaces clear and safe
🌡️ Avoiding overheating and maintaining a suitable room temperature
🍼 No bottles in sleep spaces
👕 Removing hoodies and high-neck clothing before sleep
👟 Shoes removed before sleeping
💙 Bibs removed before sleep
🚫 No dummy clips during sleep
👀 Regular and appropriate sleep checks
🚗 Safe practices when a child falls asleep while travelling

We know that sleep is an important part of a child’s day, and we want every child to feel comfortable, secure and well cared for while they rest with us. 💕

Our team regularly reviews our procedures and follows current safer-sleep guidance to help ensure that children are cared for as safely as possible.

Little sleeps, brighter tomorrows. ✨💤

💚 Everyone deserves a little emotional support! 🐢

One of our wonderful nursery employee representatives Sophie got a little something special for our amazing nursery staff. Every member of our team has their very own emotional support animal 🐢🐟🐬🐧🐙 and a Mental Health Awareness pin to wear with pride.

We hope these little friends bring a smile, a bit of comfort, and a reminder that your mental health matters too. 🫶

Look after yourselves, check in with each other, and remember: it’s okay not to be okay. 💚

A huge thank you to our wonderful nursery employee representatives for this kind and generous gesture. Your thoughtfulness and support mean so much to us. We are truly grateful for everything you do for our nursery and our team. You are all amazing! 🌸
