Elijah had a very busy morning in his Composer Masterclass creating a new piece of music for his instrument, electronic keyboard!

We looked at how to write music symbols and notes, putting his ideas down on music manuscript paper so he can play them whenever he likes!

You did really well Elijah! And I look forward to helping you complete "Tripocolypse" at some point in class 🤩

Congratulations to Alivia for passing Grade 1 Piano!

I'm so proud of Alivia! Taking a face to face grade in front of an examiner is a very daunting thing for adults so you can imagine how scary it must be for a primary school aged student!

Alivia was getting very nervous on the run up to the day but she went in there and smashed it!

🎶🎵 Congratulations to Tanvi for earning her Super Stars Certificate 13!

Tanvi has been making such amazing progress this year! She can now play music, including sharp notes, really fluently and has a lovely collection of favourite songs that she likes to play.

Perhaps the most exciting milestone Tanvi has recently reached is that she now feels comfortable enough for her mum to drop her off with me for lessons and collect her at the end!

Congratulations to Alex for his Musician Achievement Award: Amazing Sight Reading!

Sight reading can be very tricky for some people and Alex found this rather challenging at first. Just lately though, with lots of hard work, it has clicked with him really well and I'm sure he will now smash this part of his upcoming Initial Grade exam! 😁

All this hard work has also resulted in Alex earning his Practice Stars Certificate 4 too!
