International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) was celebrated yesterday, 23rd June. This annual markable diary date is recognised to commemorate the outstanding achievements of women engineers and to encourage more girls and women to pursue careers in engineering. The day highlights the contributions of women to the engineering field and helps to promote gender diversity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
Here at St Joseph’s Preparatory School, we extend our extra-curricular activities to give our pupil’s a flavour of this subject by offering a STEM Club on a weekly basis.
