🌟 What we’re looking for:

Level 3 Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
1+ year experience in children’s residential care
Strong safeguarding knowledge
A caring, resilient, and team-focused attitude
Full UK Driving Licence
Someone committed to a 2 on 4 off shift pattern

£38,000.00 per year

Residential Children’s Worker

We’re looking for a compassionate, experienced Counsellor to join our children’s residential homes—someone who can offer understanding, consistency, and a safe space for young people who have experienced trauma and disruption.

This role is about more than sessions and notes.
It’s about building trust with a young person who’s learned not to trust.
It’s about helping them feel heard, valued, and safe—sometimes for the first time.
It’s also about supporting the adults around them—because strong, supported staff create better outcomes for young people.

🌱 In this role, you will:
• Provide 1:1 therapeutic support to young people in care
• Deliver therapeutic group work
• Lead and embed a trauma-informed, nurturing environment
• Provide therapeutic supervision and reflective support to staff teams
• Help staff better understand and respond to complex behaviours
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals
• Be part of a team that truly cares

• A Diploma (or higher) in Counselling/Psychotherapy
• BACP (or equivalent) registration
