Our Foundation ESOL learners have been busy finding out about the Potteries. They had the opportunity to decorate plates and bowls and were so proud to sell their wares in a charity fund raising enterprise sale. I love my new plate and bowl. A huge well done to the learners and the dedicated staff who ensure our learners have fun whilst they learn.

Our Foundation Learners took part in an Enterprise Activity this morning. They worked towards developing team work skills, budgeting and money management and their communication skills. They were nervous at the start but as I chatted to them they spoke beautifully about how their confidence was improving and it was great to see them applying their skills. Cake and a drink was served to me beautifully with help from their teacher. Amazing job and so proud of them all - staff and learners

From Poppies to onions. The Foundation learners have been growing onions on their allotment with their teacher Kathy. Today as part of an enterprise activity they have been selling them to staff. I had an option to buy individually or per kilo and this was beautifully explained. Cheese and onion sandwiches for me.

Our fabulous Emma runs a sustainability craft club each week for our Foundation learners. It's a safe place where they can go and have a chat and make some amazing things all out of recycled products. These poppies were crafted from the bottom of plastic bottles and the lids. Our learners had a great time
