🌟 Award-Winning Young Enterprise Success! 🌟

A huge congratulations to our incredible Year 10 Young Enterprise team, who represented St Margaret Ward Catholic Academy at the Staffordshire Young Enterprise Showcase, where they were named Finalists and proudly won the Best Financially Managed Company Award! 🏆👏

The students impressed judges with their creativity, teamwork and business skills, designing and selling beautiful handmade bracelets and colourful pipe cleaner flower bouquets. Through their hard work and enterprise, they raised over £200, meaning every team member received their very first pay packet – a fantastic milestone and a real taste of the world of work! 💷

The awards were presented by the Lord Mayor of Stoke-on-Trent, who was so impressed by the handmade flower buttonhole created by Year 10 student Tatiana that he proudly wore it to another official engagement later that week. 🌸

Young Enterprise gives students invaluable experience in entrepreneurship, teamwork, finance, marketing and customer service, helping them develop the confidence and employability skills that employers value so highly.

We are incredibly proud of everything our Year 10 entrepreneurs have achieved. They have truly demonstrated what it means to use their talents with creativity, determination and service to others.

Performance opportunity at the MAC

🎭 Guess what... it's that time again!🎭

We're thrilled to announce another FULL STAGE SHOW in partnership with The Hubb Foundation Department for Education and Stoke City Council, targeted towards those on free school meals.

This is an amazing opportunity for students to experience what it's like to be part of a real theatre production, including:

✨ Full costumes
✨ Professional rehearsals
✨ Live performance in front of an audience
✨ Show tickets included

This year, we're also partnering with our friends at Derby Theatre to help students develop new theatre skills and broaden their cultural experiences with an after show trip where young people will explore how other venues make theatre happen!
