We've been knee-deep in boxes, cables, ribbons, prints, basically trapped in a DIY escape nobody booked, hunting for tape in box number seven, finding scissors in with the ice cream. Absolutely shattered. Zero glamour. Cassie's still here holding the fort. Mama's one coffee away from a sit-down strike. But yep, this is all for a wedding, so no pressure at all. Can't show much yet, but we can promise it's a belter. Not your traditional wedding colours. And we don't normally get to decorate the room, so heaven help whoever thought that was a good idea. We're back in the new broom cupboard, pressing buttons, sticking labels, pretending we're organised and losing the labels again. Mama's powered by caffeine and pure chaos. Cassie's running on wine and no sleep thanks to the toddler. We seriously can't wait to show you. If we survive the ribbon tangle without gluing ourselves to a table, you're definitely gonna hear the victory yell!

No, we haven’t shut down.
No, we haven’t run away.

Until you remember that moving Mumma also meant MOVING DAVIES DESIGNS. 😳
So not only did an entire house have to be packed into boxes… the office did too.
🖨️ Printers disconnected.
📦 Stock shoved into boxes.
🎨 Design stuff absolutely bloody EVERYWHERE.
🔌 Approximately 4,762 cables that apparently belong to something important.
🤬 Printers reconnected and immediately deciding they no longer know who we are.
📦 Boxes labelled “IMPORTANT” that nobody can bloody find.
☕ Coffee machine located before most essential household items. PRIORITIES.
And somewhere amongst all of that… Mumma was supposed to actually move house as well. 😂

🐾 So much for the unpaid Mumma's long weekend off... 🐾
After months of markets, festivals, printers, presses and general chaos, the unpaid Mumma finally took a long weekend off.
Well... she managed one whole day. 😆
Then the phone rings...
📞 "I'm bored."
Before I could even ask what she was planning, she'd already booked us onto a market!
So tomorrow, Betty is loaded, the stock is packed, the gazebo is ready, and we're heading to Doggy Day Out at Burslem Park. 🐶
Apparently, sitting around relaxing isn't for everyone. Some people see a day off and immediately think, "Let's book another event!" 🤦‍♀️😂
So much for the long weekend!
