We’ve had an absolutely fantastic day today. 🥰
It was so lovely to see so many familiar faces, meet some new ones, have a good natter and just be part of such a brilliant day.
And seriously… what a show you guys put on! 👏👏 Absolutely AMAZING from start to finish. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.
A massive THANK YOU to everyone who came over to see us at Davies Designs, stopped for a chat, had a laugh and supported our little business. It genuinely means the world to us. ❤️
And an even bigger thank you to everyone involved in organising the Jordan Memorial and for having us along. You absolutely smashed it! 💙

Because apparently Davies Designs doesn’t believe in quiet weekends… 😂
Tomorrow you’ll find us at the Jordan Burndred Memorial Fund Funday at Knypersley Sports Club, 12–5pm ❤️
It’s going to be a cracking day — stalls, food, bouncy castle, raffle, tombola, DJ, dancing, charity football match and plenty more… all while raising money for a brilliant cause and keeping Jordan’s memory alive. ❤️
ANDDDD… because we clearly didn’t have enough to do already… 🙄😂
⚽️☕ WE’RE LAUNCHING A BRAND NEW RANGE OF FOOTBALL MUGS TOMORROW! ☕⚽️
Yep. The presses have been going, the designs have been flying and the unpaid Mumma has once again been working from the broom cupboard like her life depends on it. 😂☕️
We’ll have the new range with us tomorrow, so come and have a nosey, grab yourself something, say hello and support a fantastic event. 💚💛

"Our brand-new recovery mugs ☕ and tumblers 🥤" went down an absolute storm. 🎉. "We are completely blown away by all your support." 🙏💙 "Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall, shared your story, had a chat, or took one of our products home. It honestly means the world. Recovery is about hope, support, and reminding people they're never alone. 💙 'Today was exactly that. 🫂
Now, enough of the serious stuff. The unpaid Mumma survived on coffee and pure determination, while Cassie has already filled my head with 97 new design ideas because apparently sleep is overrated." 💤 "We came home with less stock, sore feet, full hearts, and memories we'll never forget. We are so pleased to be back again this year supporting the Jordan Burndred Memorial Fund Fun Day. ❤️ It’s such a brilliant event, with an amazing community behind it, and we’re genuinely proud to be part of it again.
📅 Saturday 26th September
📍 Knypersley Sports Club
⏰ 12–5pm
There’s loads going on — stalls, food, bouncy castle, raffle, tombola, charity football, dance performances, a local DJ… and of course Davies Designs bringing the mugs, tumblers and our usual level of absolute chaos! 😂
☕ The unpaid Mumma will be there, fuelled by coffee and questionable life choices.
🎨 Cass will probably decide we need 17 new designs the night before.
🚐 And somehow we’ll squeeze half the broom cupboard into the van!
Most importantly, it’s all about coming together, keeping Jordan’s memory alive and supporting a fantastic cause. 💚💛

Tomorrow, Sunday 6th September, Davies Designs is heading to RecoverFest at Uttoxeter Racecourse! 💗🙌
And when I say Davies Designs… I actually mean THE UNPAID MUMMA. ON HER OWN. 😳😂
Yep. Cassie has deserted me this weekend! Apparently she has better things to do, so Mumma has been left to load the van, unload the van, set everything up, sell everything, pack everything away AND somehow remain pleasant to the general public. 😂☕️
Thoughts and prayers appreciated. Coffee donations even more so. 🤣
We’ve got our BRAND NEW recovery range coming with us — mugs, tumblers and loads of new designs, all created especially for RecoverFest. 💪❤️
It’s FREE, family-friendly and alcohol-free, running 12pm–6pm, with music, family attractions, food, wellbeing activities and Lucy Spraggan headlining! 🎤🌈

And quite frankly, Mumma would like to know HOW THE F**K THIS HAS HAPPENED?!
I’ve already got one daughter who’s 32 and now Cassie’s bloody 30.
STOP. GETTING. OLDER.
You’re making your mother look bad. 😂
For those wondering how Cassie has made it to 30, we’re equally confused. This is the woman responsible for approximately 99.9% of the chaos at Davies Designs.
Cassie: “Mum, I’ve had an idea…” 💡
Mumma: “No.”
Cassie: “I’ve already designed it.”
Mumma: “For f**k’s sake.”
Cassie: “And I need 20 of them.”
Mumma: “When?”
Cassie: “About ten minutes ago.” 🙃
And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is basically the entire Davies Designs business plan. 😂
Cassie designs it.
Cassie creates the chaos.
Mumma barks the orders, presses everything and swears from the broom cupboard.
Somehow… it works. 🤷‍♀️😂
But wait — because Cassie couldn’t even have her own bloody birthday…
Her daughter is also 3 TODAY! 🎂🎀
So we’ve got 30 years of Cassie chaos and 3 years of the next generation being trained up to continue it.
Brilliant.

😂 YOU ACTUALLY COULDN’T MAKE THIS UP… 😂
So you know that brand-new Recovery range we’ve JUST finished?
The one the unpaid Mumma wanted designed, photographed, mocked up and print-ready approximately five minutes ago? 🙄😂
Well… she’s back.
“While you’re doing designs…” 👀
Oh no. NO.
🎃 “Can we have a whole new Halloween range?”
🎄 “And we probably need a new Christmas range too…”
Me: “Yeah, course. When were you thinking?”
Her: “Now.”
NOW?! 😳😂
Not next week.
Not when we’ve finished Recovery Fest.
Not even bloody tomorrow.
NOW.
Apparently Davies Designs has gained a full creative department overnight.
Unfortunately, I AM THE CREATIVE DEPARTMENT. 🤦‍♀️😂
So keep your eyes peeled because, against my better judgement, there may be brand-new Halloween AND Christmas ranges incoming… 🎃🎄
Meanwhile, the unpaid Mumma will be sitting there firing over another 47 ideas like:

✨ NEW RANGE ALERT — RECOVERY FEST 2026! ✨
We’re currently getting ready for Recovery Fest in Uttoxeter on 6th September, and this one is very close to our hearts. 💜
We haven’t released a completely new range for a while, so obviously the unpaid Mumma decided NOW was the perfect time. 😂
Her contribution?
“Got a few ideas for some recovery designs…”
Translation: Can you design them, sort the artwork, do the photos, create the stills AND have them print-ready… preferably within the hour? 🤦‍♀️😂
And because apparently I work best under completely unreasonable deadlines… HERE THEY ARE! 🙌
👀 And what you’re seeing here is JUST A SNIPPET of the new designs!
Yep… there are even more new ones coming. Apparently the unpaid Mumma’s imagination has no off switch. 😂

We've been knee-deep in boxes, cables, ribbons, prints, basically trapped in a DIY escape nobody booked, hunting for tape in box number seven, finding scissors in with the ice cream. Absolutely shattered. Zero glamour. Cassie's still here holding the fort. Mama's one coffee away from a sit-down strike. But yep, this is all for a wedding, so no pressure at all. Can't show much yet, but we can promise it's a belter. Not your traditional wedding colours. And we don't normally get to decorate the room, so heaven help whoever thought that was a good idea. We're back in the new broom cupboard, pressing buttons, sticking labels, pretending we're organised and losing the labels again. Mama's powered by caffeine and pure chaos. Cassie's running on w**e and no sleep thanks to the toddler. We seriously can't wait to show you. If we survive the ribbon tangle without gluing ourselves to a table, you're definitely gonna hear the victory yell!
