Some things just make it all worthwhile.. Late evening sheep checks with Shirley having a head scratch with Zonya ..Two lovely shearling ewes even managed to pose nicely ..

Lodgeway Erasmus and Cagedale Eagle trimming down for work later on in the Autumn..

As previously explained ,we at Lodgeway and Nobut Manor find ourselves having to reduce sheep numbers drastically...This is due to the loss of summer grazing where the sheep stay April to Oct ..
We will have sheep for transfer both privately and at the auction sales as on the attached poster ..
More details to follow ,but needless to say there will be opportunities to pick up sheep of all classes which wouldn't normally be offered .
Still to wean the lambs ,but once done and sorted more info of stock for private sale will be posted

Doing things a little different this summer ,visiting a few new shows. .First time out for the season with our Nobut Manor Flock at Kenilworth Show ..

Pleased to report we had a fantastic set of results. including
Female and Breed Champion with Nobut Manor Fedora ( Cherry Tree Bounty x Nobut Manor Bryony (
1st Group of 3 with Nobut Manor Denman , Brianne and Lodgeway Flake
that then went onto be awarded Reserve Interbreed Group of 3
Hope to return next year as a lovely show

Lodgeway and Nobut Manor flocks will be involved in this sale with females in lamb and ewe lambs

Caught these 2 tonight ..Lodgeway Casseopia pictured on her own ,still suckling twins, also pictured with her Supplementary ewe lamb Galaxy is one of our Ashgrove ewes ( who is dam of Ferrero Rocher ,1st prize ewe lamb Ludlow 2025)...size and power across the board ..

Bank Holiday Monday ,time to take a few photos.. Sheep of all classes to be available for transfer at Ludlow ,Carlisle and Rubies ..
Might be a few ewe lambs for private transfer at weaning ,2nd week of June
