Been a bit hectic this last few weeks and no time to post.
Royal Lancashire and Ashby Shows attended with both breeds ...Plenty of prep time needed but worth it in the end
Royal Lancs ,11 sheep taken in massive classes ,really pleased with our results ..Highlight was having the family help us on the day ..
Onto Ashby and 12 sheep and well pleased to get breed champion with Lodgeway Gulliver ( Cagedale Eagle x Ashgrove ewe )
Nobut Manor Denman getting a fabulous 1st in the Ram class ..
Also Nobut Manor Brianne getting second in the ewe class as a 5 shear ...one more show for her at Nantwich before retirement..
Lovely 2 weeks and lots of work for all of us involved with the flocks ..

Visit to the Royal Norfolk Show this week...🔥🔥🔥 weather ...Sheep were impeccably behaved in the conditions and come home better for the experience .
Coloured Ryeland wise ,we were pleased to win the Group of 3 class with homebred sheep ,Denman, Fedora and Fiona ..

Congratulations to all the winners across some large classes
We supported the Any other Down Breeds with the Ryelands and we're more than happy to come away with a fifth and a sixth place in huge classes. Hopefully the breed can have it's own section now .
Wonderful to meet up with friends old and new..
Most importantly it's always important to thank those left behind ,' holding the fort '...not an easy week either....Next Show Royal Lancashire with a few new faces making seasonal debuts..

Some things just make it all worthwhile.. Late evening sheep checks with Shirley having a head scratch with Zonya ..Two lovely shearling ewes even managed to pose nicely ..
