We're so excited to welcome all of you to our free family storytelling festival, the perfect day out this summer.

We're ready to welcome all the family to six parks across Stoke, from 11am - 3pm, with local storytellers, bouncy castles, crafts, pop-up sports, circus skills and much more! Plus a free book for each child to take home!

A huge thanks to our partners Stoke-on-Trent Libraries and HarperCollins who make these festivals possible.

Water will be provided, but please feel free to bring a picnic.

As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, we would like to thank all of our families for your continued support, encouragement, and partnership throughout the year. It has been a pleasure watching the children grow in confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning.
A special farewell goes to our Year 2 children as they prepare to begin their exciting journey into the Juniors. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved and wish them every success and happiness in this next chapter of their school life. We know they will continue to shine!
To all of our families, thank you once again for your kindness and support. We hope you have a relaxing, safe, and enjoyable summer holiday, filled with fun, laughter, and special memories.

The literacy trust have given our reading champions lots of free books for our school. This week we will hide lots of these cards around school. If you find one you can exchange it for a free book. Keep a close eye out around school! National Literacy Trust in Stoke-on-Trent

Great British Summer Savings

Rising prices can make life's little treats harder to afford, especially during the school holidays when costs build up for families. This Government is determined to help, and that is why last month the Chancellor announced the Great British Summer Savings scheme.

From 25 June to 1 September 2026, the Government is temporarily cutting VAT from 20% to 5% on children's meals in restaurants, children and family tickets to cinemas, theatres, concerts and exhibitions, and admission to a wide range of attractions. Combined with free bus travel during August for children aged 5 to 15 in England, families and young people will be able to enjoy experiences that make summer special, including visits to the kinds of cultural and educational attractions that enrich children's lives outside the classroom.

The Summer Reading Challenge started at the weekend at a Stoke-on-Trent Libraries near you! ☀️

This free summer holiday activity, from our friends at The Reading Agency, is a great way to keep your child reading over the summer break. All you need to do is head to your local library to sign up! 📚

For the National Year of Reading, the theme is Read to the Beat, encouraging children to explore the connection between stories and songs, whether that’s through lyrics, K-Pop comics or their favourite artist’s story. 🎵

Children can read anything they like and will collect special stickers and rewards for their reading!
