Every child begins their school journey in their own way and the little things you do at home every day will help them become more confident.

As your child grows in independence, you can help them practice skills such as:

✅ Using the toilet independently

✅ Getting dressed by themselves

✅ Sharing and taking turns with others

✅ Building confidence and communication

These everyday moments - putting on shoes, chatting at mealtimes, or encouraging them to have a go are all helping your child prepare for school.

😘We have been out and about in the local area. Dropping books and little well being messages for all of our wonderful friends, families and community of Trentham. If you happen to find a book please take a photo and tag us in so we can see all the wonderful children and families who have shared our books. We want to ensure everyone has opportunities to read and connect together. The love of reading opens the doors to lots of opportunities. Extending vocabulary, introducing new vocabulary and most importantly the close contact when sharing books together. Thank you to anyone who takes part. 🥰
