Bee Active Childcare at Knypersley

Our new and improved mud kitchen is now filled with lots of enriching resources for the children to explore and use in their imaginative recipes. We have added painted pebbles, recipe prompt cards, and a variety of open-ended materials to inspire creativity and role play.

The children have already thoroughly enjoyed exploring the new resources today, and their level of engagement has been fantastic. It has been wonderful to see such enthusiasm, concentration, and enjoyment throughout their play.

Preschool Sports Day Fun! 🌟

What a fantastic Sports Day we had at Bee Active Childcare!

Our preschool children showed incredible enthusiasm and determination as they took part in a variety of events, including a running race, a beanbag race, hurdles, and even the chance to ride their very own dragon using pool noodles! 🐉

A massive thank you to Ben and the Bee Active Team for organising such a fun-filled event!

We are so proud of all of our children for giving everything a go, cheering on their friends, and showing fantastic sportsmanship throughout the day. You were all superstars!

Finally, thank you to all of our parents and families who came along to support and join in the fun. Your encouragement and enthusiasm helped make the day even more memorable.

🍓🍌 Food and Independence 🍌🍓

Our topic for May in the baby and toddler room is Food and Independence! This morning the children had so much fun making their own smoothies and sorbets 😋

The children enjoyed exploring different fruits, helping to pour and mix ingredients, and tasting their yummy creations. What a lovely way to build confidence, independence and try new things!

☀️ We’ve had such a lovely few days in pre-school enjoying the sunshine!

The children have had lots of fun taking part in water fights to cool down and enjoyed trips to the park with their friends too. There’s been lots of running around, laughter and making the most of the nice weather. 😊

It’s been so lovely seeing the children so happy and engaged outdoors over the last few days! ☀️

Today at Bee Active Childcare, our babies and preschool children had a very special visitor… Charlie the little black Pomeranian! 🐾🐝

The children absolutely loved spending time with Charlie, giving him lots of gentle cuddles and attention. Some of the children even said he was their “best friend” by the end of the visit! 🥰

It was wonderful to see the smiles, excitement, and confidence Charlie brought to the children today. We can’t wait to welcome him back again soon! 🐶✨

The children were so excited to release our beautiful butterflies yesterday after watching them grow and change through their life cycle. It was such a special experience and a wonderful opportunity for the children to learn about nature, change and caring for living things. 💛

A very special baby shower for our wonderful Preschool Manager, Alex 💛

Alex is truly amazing, and we feel so lucky to have had her love, care, and dedication as part of our preschool family. As she begins her final week with us before starting maternity leave, we want to wish her all the happiness and love in this exciting new chapter.

We can’t wait to meet her beautiful little boy and know she is the most incredible mum ❤️

We’ve had such a lovely week at nursery, making the most of the sunshine! The children have enjoyed trips to the park, exploring water play, and collecting dandelions which we used for a beautiful flower painting activity. 🌼✨

We’re so pleased to share that High Peak Comps has generously donated two fantastic new additions to our preschool outdoor area! As part of our ongoing journey to enhance our garden space, these resources will make a wonderful difference for the children.
