🎖️ Remembrance Assembly 🌺

Today, we came together to honour and remember those who have served and sacrificed. We took part in a thoughtful and respectful one-minute silence to reflect on the importance of this day.

We are incredibly proud of the beautiful poppies designed and created by our children, each one a symbol of gratitude and remembrance. Their creativity and understanding made it truly meaningful.

👋 VISIT TO SMALLTHORNE PRIMARY ACADEMY 👋 ✅️ I had a wonderful visit to Smallthorne Primary Academy's newly-extended school-based nursery this morning. It was lovely to see the children learning and thriving thanks to this new government funding. ✅️ And great news... there's extra funding on the way for more school-based nurseries thanks to a new £45 million pot from government. So I've contacted every headteacher across our area to encourage them to apply. Let's give our children across Stoke-on-Trent and Kidsgrove the very best start in life!

🚨 ATTENTION YEAR 6 PARENTS! 🚨 We look forward to seeing our Year 6 students in school tomorrow for the first day of their two Transition Days! Staff will be out to greet students at 8:50am at our Haywood Road entrance
