Did you know that music and movement can significantly enhance early years development? Boogie Mites offers engaging, fun-filled sessions that boost language, literacy, and motor skills, and stimulate children's imagination and creativity – all while having fun! We also use shakers, rhythm sticks, drums, sensory scarves, and various fun props.
With 20 years experience working in the Early Years Specialist Teaching Services, and 5 years as a Boogie Mites teacher, I understand the importance of quality education for children. Our award winning classes that are designed to support and enhance the learning experiences of your little ones.

Classes that I offer are; ‘Teenies’ (for under 2’s), ‘Minis’ (2-3’s), ‘Mities’ (2-5’s, with monthly changing themes e.g. ‘Dinosaurs & Transport’, ‘In the Jungle’, ‘Healthy Living’), and ‘School Ready’ (pre-school children). Classes can also be made suitable for a more varied age group.
The ‘School Ready’ course will benefit children with more intensive work, bringing their listening and phoneme awareness skills up to the required standard.
Nurseries, pre-schools and schools can book classes for weekly, monthly, termly, or as a one off. I offer very competitive pricing.

In July we will be covering the theme 'Around the World', where we will be going on adventures as far as Australia!

Love my work! Yesterday, after a class, a child drew a picture of me, with an uncanny resemblance! 😂 Today I asked toddlers if, for their last song, they’d like the ‘Goodbye’ song or ‘Twinkle Twinkle’, and got a response of ‘Everybody’s Shuffling’ 🤣

The fun Boogie Mites theme for June is 'Healthy Living'. We shall be finding out what we can do to stay healthy, including food, exercise and brushing our teeth.

A bit late on this post, as May is proving to be a very busy month. The fun Boogie Mites theme this month is "In the Garden". Classes are held at Little Stars Childcare (Cheddleton, Leek First & Berrisford), Shiny Stars Trentham, Pathways Childcare Centre (Cheadle), Future Flyers Nursery (Norton), St Thomas’s Day Nursery (Tean), and Busy Bunnies Childminding. After the half term I will also be visiting Kiddies Kingdom Nursery (Stoke-on-Trent), and Cedar Tree Rocester.
