Just a reminder to anyone out and about this weekend..

If you are lucky enough to find a rare Spoon with a board as well..

Sometimes what you can't see as a player, the trained eye of an experienced darts coach can.

The role of a darts coach is not to get you throw like a pro or myself (I wouldn't wish that on anyone) but to help you see gaps in the mechanics or the mindset we might be missing or that we are doing well with the mechanics, don't forget that a player with confidence in their game is a stronger player, and not an over thinker.

So helping the player with a Throw Analysis video is sometimes a good starting ground.

I'm looking at putting a darts coaching day on at The Arena Crewe. Would there be interest? I already have had a few contact me say they would be interested after some chats with players.

If we can get enough interest stirred up i can organise the date with the venue and get this booked into the diary and open up the bookings.

update after last night's games.

Still no 121 checkout and yet we all start there when working on setups, just 4.73% of games have been finished on scores over 120! where as 60% of legs have been won between 2-55 interesting (its not really for me)

Update in the checkouts from the Grand Prix.

40 is once again going strong, with 24 now entering the top 4, 36 in joint 5th has also not surprised me.
What has surprised me is the 18% of finishes are 86-119 up on the seasonal tournaments.

I feel I'm a good darts coach (yes that's me being modest) but when it comes to playing the game i always joke I'm ok I can hold my own but I'm not passionate about playing darts like I am coaching it.

BUT

When it comes to 5s n 3s dominoes oh yeah I'm bloody good at that game and I can also coach that as well ha..
