What a wonderful time we have had !
From everyone at Playmates Day Nursery we would like to wish all of your families a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The nursery will re open on the 5th of January 2026🙂

The children have done amazing this week completing their 🎵 Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear action song 🎵 and have had lots of fun throughout the week.

We also have our Teddy bear 🧸 picnic tomorrow

W/B 10.11.25 - Children in Need - “Teddy Bear” activity week. The children are welcome to bring in a Teddy Bear to join them in their nursery day and to take part in all the fun 🧸🐻

We have also set a challenge to see if anyone or any Teddy can complete the 25 actions in a our new "Teddy Bear, Teddy Teddy “song, when sang twice 😊

Friday 14th November we will also be having a Teddy Bears picnic.🧸🧺

We hope all the children that are off for Half term have a lovely week!

Halloween fun has started at Playmates 🎃🧙‍♀️🕷🕸

The children have loved a range of activities today and the fun continues all week 😊 whilst also working on following instructions, creating their own art, working on fine motor skills, and exploring new materials and textures, modelling lots of communication and new vocabulary.

Ladybird room loved the dinosaur egg play, they were encouraged to paint the dinosaur's eggs, and we talked about the dinosaurs hiding.
We used new vocabulary such as ice, cold and melting. Once the dinosaurs started to show as the ice melted the children said "peek a boo dinosaur" .

What a fun week we had last week, Busy Bee room have loved the "Room on the Broom", making potions, sensory tuff tray and making witches brew.

Ladybird and Butterfly room have loved doing their harvest pictures and exploring different textures.

Over the past couple of weeks, the children in the Ladybird and Butterfly rooms have been exploring some natural autumnal materials through different tuft tray activities!🍁🌰🍂They have had so much fun exploring
