Thank you to everyone who joined us for our first Stay and Pray session of the year. 💧🙏
Our theme was bringing the Season of Creation to a close. Over the past half term, we have spent time reflecting on how we can be better stewards of God’s creation. This year, our focus has been “Immersion in Living Water,” inspired by Ezekiel 47:1–12.

Together, we created a River of Hopes, spent time at our Living Water Station, offered a prayer for our homes, and made a Laudato Si’ Promise as a commitment to caring for our common home.

It was a beautiful morning of prayer, reflection, hope and community. 💙

Thank you to everyone who helped make it so special. A big thank you to our Catholic Life Leaders who helped to lead the session. What a wonderful way to bring the Season of Creation to a close! 🌍💧

Year 5 have had such a lovely day at Alton Castle! They have thoroughly enjoyed all of their activities and finished the evening with a disco and some quiet prayer time. They are now all in bed and ready for another day of fun and adventures before it’s time to come home.
We apologise that the photographs of the children are not currently uploading due to the iPad signal. We will keep trying and hope to get these uploaded as soon as we can.
Thank you for your patience!

Last week our year 3 and 4 footballers battled bravely against other teams from the old Newman Collegiate at Dimensions. They played some lovely football and scored some wonderful goals to finish in 4th place. They will now go on to face other teams in our trust.
Well done boys we are very proud of you

Year 6 really got into the spirit of acting in their drama class at St Margaret Ward today. Working together in small groups, the children had to act out spooky scenes from a play script and then perform them to the class. Miss O’Neil loved their energy, ideas and ‘over the top’ acting and said she was looking forward to having so many super actors next year!

Last week, to link with our Autumn history topic, year 3/4 enjoyed working outside with Mr Quinn learning about life as a Stone Age person. We looked at the tools they used, the food they ate and how difficult life was a Stone Age family

Today, Year One led our first class prayer service in honour of St Michael the Archangel.

This is a very special feast day for our school community, particularly as we have recently become part of St Gabriel the Archangel CMAT.

St Gabriel the Archangel inspires each one of us to listen carefully to God’s message and to have the courage to respond with faith. As God’s messenger, Gabriel brought messages of hope, joy and good news.
Today, we pray that we too will be messengers of God’s love — spreading kindness, showing compassion, sharing joy and bringing hope to those around us.

St Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
St Gabriel the Archangel, pray for us.
