Today Raven was released back into the school garden after being taken care of by Kirsty from Hedgehogs of Waterhayes Rescue. He was quite a large older adult, he had received some treatment for different parasites, was microchipped and now he is in good health and back in his natural habitat. Kirsty has kindly borrowed us a hedgehog house and made sure that he had plenty of food and water to help him to settle in. We hope he enjoys his first night back at school. š¦ A huge thank you to Kirsty for helping him.

This morning our Science Ambassadors attended an interactive recycling and Waste education session in partnership with Veolia. They had a virtual 360-degree tour of the real recycling and energy recovery facility. It was a great session and a nice end to our sustainability learning this year.
A huge well done to Ravensmeadās Sustainabilty Ambassadors this year and we look forward to some exciting projects coming up in the new year!
Thank you to Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council Waste and Recycling Service for organising.
