Super proud of my Year 6s whatever happens! You deserve brilliant things because you’ve worked so hard!

My first ever student at Head Start Tutoring is flying the nest and I must say, it’s made me quite emotional! For a family to put their trust into you educating and nurturing their child and to see the many ways in which our hard work had paid off is so rewarding! With SATs around the corner, I know she is fully prepared and ready to tackle them. I will truly miss this student and her family!

Many congratulations are in order for the students of Head Start Tutoring, with 100% of students taking their St Joseph’s entrance examinations passing and subsequently being offered a position at the school.
Further celebrations are in order for my remote learner in Glasgow who passed her entrance exam and was offered a place at Hutcheson’s Grammar.

Everyone has worked SO hard on some very unusual styles of exam questions until they were well-versed and confident and I am super proud of their achievements!

Getting long division cracked ahead of the Year 6 National Tests. I have taught in Year 6 for MANY years and it’s always a concept that gets children scratching their head at first but it’s also the most satisfying moment when you see the penny suddenly drop and they just race off with them!
This student got them locked in before this was taught at her school so by the time they came up in class and everyone around her was confused, she had the knowledge and confidence under her belt to thrive!

At Head Start Tutoring, I am an ex St Joes student who took these tests myself (although much time has passed since, I must admit!) and I have a 100% pass rate so far for my students who have taken these tests. 👏 🎉

Hello everyone,
Firstly, I’d like to thank people for recent enquiries that have been made. I am currently on maternity leave with my second beautiful son and soaking up as much time with my first wonderful son too before he heads off to nursery school in September.
This being said, my hours and days may be altering from September to accommodate family commitments too so please do bear with me while I navigate this.
One thing I can say with confidence is that by May I will have plenty of availability as well as a clear idea of my new hours as many of my current students take their SATs and head off to high school at this point so if you are interested in booking from May this can be accommodated.
