Year 2 have been enjoying a wonderful Creation Day! 🌍

We thought about how we say “thank you” when we receive a gift and reflected on the wonderful gift of God’s creation 🙏

Together, we decided to say thank you to God through prayer for all the amazing things He has created.

Yesterday, Year 2 enjoyed celebrating National Poetry Day! 📖

We joined an online assembly all about the joy of poetry. We then continued the celebrations in our English lesson by exploring a rhyming story and having a go at writing our very own rhymes ✍️

We had lots of fun playing with words and discovering what makes a great rhyme!

This morning the whole school gathered together to celebrate our Harvest Mass 🌾 🌽 🍁

Thank you for your very generous donations; all of which will go to the Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank, where we know they will be gratefully received.

Dear God,
We pray for all in the world today who are hungry. Please help us to play our part in making the world a fairer place for all.
Amen.

Our Eco Council led a fantastic assembly today on recycling and the importance of Stewardship—taking responsibility for caring for our environment and the world around us ♻️ 🌍

To encourage everyone to think more about recycling, the Eco Council has launched an exciting school-wide competition: design your very own Recycling Superhero! 🦸

Put on your creative thinking caps, let your imagination run wild, and start designing. We can’t wait to see the amazing superheroes you create! 💭 🤩
