What a 7 days it has been for Paula Anderson
Wednesday saw her finish her pre-race prepare with a training 1mile PB - sub 8 πͺπ
On to Sunday and her the 1st fixture in the season at with a 1min 18secs PB π₯³πββοΈ
Then yesterday again saw her continuing new session PB's. Paula does 90% of her speed sessions alone.
Paula has been coached by for just over 2 years. She is one of the most dedicated women I have ever had the privilege of knowing.
I'm sure she will not be offended when I say Paula is in her late 50's and showing that age does not need to hold you back from setting new personal bests.
In April, Paula is running for as Paula has been inspired by Grace's journey

MARATHON running secret revealed!!!
Whilst currently writing an article for my marathon running athletes regarding marathon tapering 2 weeks out, I thought I'd share the benefits of putting your legs up against the wall for anyone else who follows my cocahing page.
Lying with your legs up a wall, also known as Viparita Karani in yoga, is a restorative pose with multiple physical and mental benefits.
Mental and emotional benefits:
- reduce stress & anxiety
- improves sleep
- relieves fatigue
- alleviates tension headaches
Physical benefits:
- enhances circulation
- reduces swelling and fluid retention
- soothes tired or cramped legs
- gently stretches the lower back
- aids digestion
Always consult doctor if you have any of the following first:
- eye conditions
- uncontrolled blood pressure
- certain fluid retention conditions
- had recent surgery or injury involving legs or spine

This dedicated lady has just spent the last 15weeks following our plan for Chester marathon almost to the letter including holidays & boozy night outs.
In the last month, her hardwork has earned her a 20 miles PB and a 5k PB. No matter what happens in the marathon no one can take away from her.
1 more week of following our plan.
