Our latest paper...
..shows the current landscape of strategic in the UK.🌍
The results of our study confirm that there is an inequity of representation of the allied health professions within senior AHP leadership. It was found that physiotherapists (who account for 25% of registered AHPs) occupy 46% of the Chief AHP roles.
In short, there is:
Inequity in AHP representation,
title disparity for chief AHPs &

So thrilled to see years of our Andrew Horwood's work come to fruition. It's a comprehensive must-read text covering all topics in Clinical Biomechanics.
With contributions from Nachiappan Chockalingam the book titled "Clinical Biomechanics in Human Locomotion: Origins and Principles" explains how biomechanics is related to the development of pathology through mechanical laws, anatomy, physiology, and health.
It covers joint movements, muscle actions, bone physiology and patho-physiology, and neurological disorders, providing fundamental principles and practical information for individuals pursuing clinical biomechanics. The book also covers materials science, force generation, biological sciences, evolution in biomechanics, human gait, functional units of lower limbs and feet and pathomechanics principles.
This book is suitable for students in , , and , as well as professionals working in , , engineering, and related fields.
