Our new Year 7 were warmly welcomed into the Saint Martin’s family yesterday.
The students spent time with their Form Tutors and Head of Year, learning more about our school, our Catholic values and what it means to be part of the Saint Martin’s community.
They finished their first day with a beautiful Welcome Mass celebrated by Father Frank.
We are looking forward to watching them grow, flourish and share their God-given talents with us all over the next five years.

🎭✨ SHOW IN A WEEK – WHAT A WEEK! ✨🎭

What an incredible five days it has been!

On Monday morning, students arrived for auditions, followed by their first read-through and sing-through later that day. From Tuesday to Friday, they worked tirelessly to rehearse the show – and then, on Friday evening, they took to the floor at 6pm for a fantastic performance of Annie Jr! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of every student who took part. In just one week, they learned songs, routines and lines, developed their characters and put together an entire production in an amazingly short amount of time.

But it wasn't just about performing. Our students showed fantastic independent thinking, teamwork and the ability to multitask. They took responsibility for set changes, props, backstage jobs and so much more, often working things out for themselves and supporting each other along the way.

The result was a brilliant performance and a fantastic end to an incredible week. 👏

A huge well done - your hard work, enthusiasm, skill and commitment have been outstanding. We couldn't be prouder! ❤️🎭

There are 4 places left on our Show in a Week Summer School from 17th–21st August, where we'll create, rehearse and perform a full show in just five days!
