We are thrilled to report another year of excellent A Level results!

This year marked a 100% pass rate with 68% of all grades at A* - B.

YMS Head, Robin Harskin, was delighted with the result:

“This proves once again that the tuition pupils receive here is not just designed to turn them into world-class young musicians but also provides them with a thorough academic education. A wonderful result for young YMS violinist Tracy!

She's just been awarded 2nd Prize in her category at the 11th International Pulawy Violin Competition in Poland.

Tracy gave a series of sparkling performances at the beautiful Czartoryski Palace, impressing the distinguished jury with her musicianship and artistry.

We are delighted to celebrate this achievement and are so proud of Tracy!

YMS pianist Soho has had a great run of competitions this summer.

He was a finalist in the Young Euregio International Piano Competition in Germany and a joint 2026 winner at the inaugural Junior Vigo International Piano Competition in Spain, where the judges praised his “exceptional musicality and artistry.”

His piano teacher Ron and everyone at YMS are very proud of his progress and look forward to welcoming him back in September.
