Hello
It has been a very hot week in the North East and I have been struggling with hayfever I have not been this bad for some time.
We had some thunderstorms and rainbows but not much rain. The garden has been suffering a bit since we came home from Shetland.
We went to see the new park by the river in Stockton we are not sure that we like it or not, the plants were lovely and it’s nice to walk from the river to the high street, What I didn’t like was that bikes and skateboards were using same paths as walkers.
I have been designing a knitted snowman the first toy I have made in knitting. It’s been too hot to do much this week.
I did finish a small doll from a new book called Reversible Amigurumi by Febby by Pranajaya ‘Chibiscraft’ I like this book they are all so cute. It’s nice and easy to use, the instructions are very clear with lots of pictures.
We did have a surprise this week when the parakeets were in the cherry tree at the other side of or fence.

I don’t know what I do! how do I always manage to have a messy chair?
I know I like to have lots of projects to work on but this is ridiculous.
Which do I choose next I will probably do a bit of all of them today, but I am enjoying the knitting.
I know it’s the dark side I needed to try and work out a knitting pattern and I bought a new crochet book and there is that lovely kit I got in Shetland. As well as some more knitting upstairs and 2 pieces of embroidery as well. I guess that is a lot but the mere will be more I am sure. 🤪 Do you like to have lots of projects on the go? If so how many?

Days 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 100
Well lots of photos today to finish the challenge
We have been on an epic trip to Shetland, Orkney and the west coast of Scotland.
We were very busy every day, we went to lots of wool shops and museums, cafes and different B and Bs
We saw lots of beautiful beaches, had lots of lovely home made cakes, great food, great views, and lots of laughs with my best friends.
The main thing I really wanted to see were the puffins and we saw lots of puffins at Sumburgh lighthouse you have to drive over a runway at the airport to get to the lighthouse and wow was it worth the trip the puffins were fabulous. We even saw Jimmies house from the Shetland serial programme

Who would have thought I would have made this challenge for so long certainly not me I am not good at keeping things going at all.
But here I am on day 89 wooooo
The weather is warmer today but it is still windy and quite cloudy so we haven’t had the heatwave here.
The pictures for today are showing how much the knitted blanket has grown I am not halfway yet but the 2 long sides are as long as I am going to make them.
