A Morning Well Spent at Redcar Beach! 🌊

This morning, we headed to Redcar Beach for our community beach clean, and we're pleased to say we collected five bags of litter and waste, helping to make a positive difference to the local environment.

It was fantastic to see volunteers of all ages getting involved, with our youngest volunteer just six years old, lending a hand to clean the sand dunes.

A special mention goes to one of our tutors, who joined us with her husband and daughter, and of course Shadow the horse 🐎, who kept everyone smiling as he strolled along the beachfront while we got to work!

After a productive morning, we finished with a well-earned ice cream by the seafront. 🍦

A small group can still make a big impact, and today's beach clean is proof that every effort counts. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make our community cleaner.

We're always proud to hear how our learners are progressing and the positive impact our training has had on their confidence, knowledge, and careers.

Kim's journey through our Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship is a fantastic example of how learning can make a real difference. Through the course, she gained the confidence to provide safe, effective, and truly person-centred care, while developing her knowledge of legislation, best practice, and supporting people with brain injuries.

Success stories like Kim's are exactly why we do what we do. Seeing our learners develop new skills, achieve their goals, and make a positive impact in their workplaces is incredibly rewarding. 💛

Whether you're just starting out with a Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship, looking to progress with a Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship, or ready to develop your leadership skills through a Level 5 Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship, we're here to support you every step of the way.

🌺 Happy South Asian Heritage Month! 🌺

This month, we're celebrating the rich cultures, histories, and contributions of South Asian communities.

This year's theme, "Unity in Diversity," encourages us to celebrate the beauty and strength of our differences while recognising the shared values, intertwined histories, and sense of community and belonging that bring us together.

South Asian Heritage Month is an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the heritage of people with roots in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka, and to honour the significant contributions South Asian communities make across healthcare, social care, education, business, and many other sectors.

In adult care, embracing diversity is at the heart of delivering person-centred care. By understanding and respecting different cultures, beliefs, and lived experiences, we can promote dignity, inclusion, and compassionate care for everyone.

At Vision Training North East, we're proud to champion equality, diversity, and inclusion through learning that empowers care professionals to make a positive difference every day.

Together, let's celebrate South Asian Heritage Month and the power of Unity in Diversity.

Today we celebrate World Autistic Pride Day, a day to recognise, respect, and value autistic people for who they are.

Every autistic person is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, talents, and perspectives.

Autistic Pride Day is about:
• Acceptance over judgement
• Inclusion over exclusion
• Understanding over stereotypes
• Celebrating neurodiversity in all forms

Creating a more inclusive world starts with listening, learning, and supporting people to be themselves without fear of stigma or misunderstanding.
