We work together with our learners to develop unique, bespoke training plans to suit their individual’s needs. By doing this we get the best out of our learners, allowing them to flourish both inside and outside of the workplace. With over 25 years of social care expertise, from our first-hand care work experience to establishing and running a highly successful home care provider and NVQ Assessment Centre, we are able to provide health care training with an in-depth understanding of the care industry. 🌟Autumn Learner of the Season Award🌟

We are delighted to recognise Hannah Scaife from Harrogate Neighbours as our Learner of the Season for her outstanding commitment, dedication and achievements throughout her qualification.

Balancing part-time work alongside raising a young family, Hannah has shown exceptional determination and a genuine passion for learning. Her hard work, positive attitude and willingness to continually develop have made her a fantastic role model for other learners.

Her tutor, Cath Taliaferro, praised Hannah's commitment, highlighting the excellent quality of her work, her proactive approach to learning and the confidence she has gained in applying her knowledge within the workplace. Hannah has recently begun developing care plans, putting the skills she has learned throughout her Level 3 Diploma into practice, and is highly regarded by both her tutor and manager.

Reflecting, celebrating and looking ahead! 🌟

Our team recently came together for our annual Centre Reflection Day – an opportunity to celebrate everything we've achieved over the last academic year while exploring how we can continue to grow and improve.

Through collaborative discussions, sharing ideas and reflecting on our strengths, we focused on how we can build on our recent successes and continue providing the very best experience for our learners and employer partnerships.

A huge thank you to everyone for their enthusiasm, honesty and contributions throughout the day. We also enjoyed celebrating the hard work and dedication of our incredible team with a small token of appreciation. 🎁

A huge congratulations to our fantastic colleagues, Louise and Kyla, for completing the Great North Run 2026! 🏃‍♀️💙

We are incredibly proud of their dedication, determination and teamwork in taking on this incredible challenge, all while raising money for the Alzheimer's Society.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone who supported them, they have raised an amazing £525 for such a worthwhile cause. Every donation helps to make a difference to people living with dementia and those who care for them.

We’re incredibly proud of our team and the continued commitment to providing high-quality training and support to our learners.

Our Ofsted Nominee, Louise Bennett, had the following to say:

"Being the Ofsted nominee for our recent inspection was a privilege and a great opportunity to showcase the work of our team.

I am incredibly proud of the commitment our colleagues show every day to our apprentices and employers. Seeing our final report published is a moment for us all to reflect on what we have achieved together, while continuing to focus on how we can make our provision even stronger.

World Alzheimer’s Month 2026

September is World Alzheimer’s Month, an opportunity to raise awareness of dementia and help challenge the stigma that can surround the condition.

Dementia can affect many areas of a person’s life, but it does not define who they are. Understanding, patience, communication and person-centred support can make a real difference.

At Vision Training, we are proud to support learning and development within the health and social care sector, helping professionals build the knowledge, skills and confidence needed to provide compassionate and high-quality care.

This year, two members of the Vision Training team, Kyla and Louise, are taking on the Great North Run in support of Alzheimer's Society, and we couldn't be prouder of them for taking on this incredible challenge. 🏃‍♀️

Dementia affects millions of people and their loved ones across the UK, and Kyla and Louise wanted to use this opportunity to support a charity that makes such a meaningful difference. From funding vital research and raising awareness to providing support for people living with dementia and their families, Alzheimer's Society carries out invaluable work every day.

If you're able to support their fundraising, any donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference. Alternatively, sharing their fundraising page would be greatly appreciated and will help raise awareness of this important cause.

Everyone at Vision Training wishes Kyla and Louise the very best of luck on race day. We know they'll do an amazing job, and we're incredibly proud to be cheering them on every step of the way! 💙🏅

A Morning Well Spent at Redcar Beach! 🌊

This morning, we headed to Redcar Beach for our community beach clean, and we're pleased to say we collected five bags of litter and waste, helping to make a positive difference to the local environment.

It was fantastic to see volunteers of all ages getting involved, with our youngest volunteer just six years old, lending a hand to clean the sand dunes.

A special mention goes to one of our tutors, who joined us with her husband and daughter, and of course Shadow the horse 🐎, who kept everyone smiling as he strolled along the beachfront while we got to work!

After a productive morning, we finished with a well-earned ice cream by the seafront. 🍦

A small group can still make a big impact, and today's beach clean is proof that every effort counts. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make our community cleaner.
