We are currently looking for a new Early Years Educator to join our team. The successful applicant must have a minimum qualification of Level 3 in Early Years and at least 2 years experience.

Working Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 and 6 the main responsibilities of this role are:

To ensure that all children get an exceptional standard of care.
To work cooperatively in a small team of practitioners to deliver high quality education and experiences.
To ensure that the companies policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and that safeguarding is of the upmost importance.
To ensure that children are cared for in a safe, exciting and stimulating environment.
To support the management with the day to day running of the nursery.

Area Manager Vacancy

We are seeking to employ an experienced Area Manager to join our team and support the management in ensuring that the nurseries are running to an exceptionally high standard at all times.

The successful candidate will rotate between all 4 settings ensuring that best practice is embedded throughout and that operational standards are continuously high.

To be successful you must have a minimum qualification of Level 3 in Early Years and at least 2 years experience of working at managerial level in a childcare setting.

Working Monday - Friday between the hours of 7 and 6 the main responsibilities of this role are to:

Ensure that the aims, values and culture of the company is reflected throughout all 4 settings

Plan, implement and deliver our new parental partnership initiative 'The Big Barnie Forum'

Support the management team in the recruitment and retention of staff

Work cooperatively with other employees to ensure our large team of practitioners deliver high quality education and experiences

Ensure that the companies policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and that safeguarding is of the upmost importance

Ensure that children are cared for in a safe, exciting and stimulating environment

Complete regular audits and mock inspections

Oversee and monitor the impact of documentation that is essential to the running of the company

Essential skills

The ability to lead and stimulate a large team to ensure the best outcomes for all children and their families

The ability to work well under pressure

Excellent organisational skills

Part-time hours: 25 per week

✨ ROLE-PLAY IN THE EARLY YEARS ✨

In the Early Years, Role-Play is a very important part of children’s development. It helps build confidence, develop communication skills, encourages creativity, and promotes problem solving. Other than it being a fun activity for children to engage in, role playing also encourages children to learn, and immerse themselves, in real life experiences and different occupations.

The children in Pre School have recently shown a great interest in role playing hairdressers/beauty salons. So, following the children’s interests, The Barnie Salon will be opening in Pre School next week! 💇🏼‍♀️ 💄

If you have any of the following items at home, we would be very grateful for them!

- Old hair tools (straighteners/tongs/hairdryer)
- Brushes or combs
- Hair accessories
- Empty hair products (shampoo/conditioner bottles/hair styling products etc)
- Hair dresser accessories
- Emptied/clean make up products (empty/clean make up palettes/clean makeup brushes etc)
- Beauty salon accessories

Here's a little snippet into the imaginations of our little Barnies!

All of these creations have been designed using loose parts. Loose parts have unlimited outcomes and this way of playing ignites the child's imagination and delivers endless possibilities.

These open ended resources have no set direction, this means that the children can use them over & over again without limitations on how to use them. Each time they engage and create, the play is very different.

We are always on the hunt for loose parts! If you have any at home we could definitely make use of them! From shells, guttering, crates & picture frames to wood slices, bottle tops, corks & cardboard boxes, the list is endless 💫
