If you’re aged between 8 and 18 and are learning an orchestral instrument, or have had some lessons in the past, it would be lovely to welcome you to our friendly orchestra on a Saturday morning at St Barnabas Church Hall, Linthorpe, Middlesbrough.
Our first session back after the summer break is Saturday 19th September at 10.15 (hall opens at 10.00).

Come and join us at St Barnabas Church Hall, Linthorpe, Middlesbrough, each Saturday from 10.15-11.45 (Hall opens at 10am).

If you play an orchestral instrument, we’d love to welcome you into our ensemble. We have musicians aged 8-18 years ranging from beginners through to those taking GCSE music.

Haven’t got an instrument? Don’t worry - we have some instruments you can borrow.

🚨 BBC 500 Words opens for submissions on Tuesday 29th September at 8am! 🚨

The UK’s biggest children’s story-writing competition is back - inviting young storytellers to write the kind of story they would love to read. No pressure around spelling, grammar or punctuation - it’s all about creativity! Plus, there are loads of prizes to be won!

🕒 Entry deadline: Friday 6th November at 9pm

📣 Could you be a volunteer judge? 500 Words are looking for teachers, teaching assistants, SEND staff, and library staff to help read and judge entries.
