🙏💙 Year 7 Welcome Mass 💙🙏

What a wonderful turnout for our Year 7 Welcome Mass this evening — a special moment in the transition journey of our newest pupils into the OLSB family.

Transition is about so much more than starting a new school. It is about belonging, building relationships and becoming part of a community. The partnership between home, school and our families is incredibly important, and it was fantastic to see so many parents and carers joining us tonight to pray and celebrate together.

A huge thank you to Fr Mark for celebrating Mass with us, and to everyone who helped make the evening so special.

We are incredibly proud to welcome our Year 7 pupils and their families into our community. This is just the beginning of their journey with us. 🙏✨

🌟 Year 11 Celebration Mass Invitation 🌟

The Year 11 pupils of Our Lady and St. Bede would like to warmly invite our families, parishioners and wider community to join us for a very special Mass.

📅 Thursday 1st October 2026
🕚 11:10am – 12:10pm
📍 Hall A, Our Lady and St. Bede

This Mass has been thoughtfully prepared by our Year 11 form groups and will include readings, reflections, bidding prayers and introductions led by our pupils. Our school Praise and Worship Group will provide the music, and we are delighted that Fr. Mark will be celebrating the Mass.

As our Year 11 pupils continue their final year at OLSB, this is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together in prayer, reflection and thanksgiving as a school community.

We would love to see as many of you there as possible and thank you for the care, encouragement and support you continue to show our young people.

💙 Everyone is welcome. We look forward to celebrating with you. ✝️

📅✨ Year 7 Parents' Evening - We Can't Wait to Welcome You! ✨📅

We are really looking forward to meeting families and discussing how your child has settled into life at OLSB. 😊🎓

During the evening, you'll have the opportunity to speak with your child's subject teachers, Head of Year and our SENCO, helping you to gain a full picture of their start to secondary school. 📚👩‍🏫👨‍🏫

If you haven't managed to book an appointment, please don't worry! 👍 Just come along on the evening and you will still be able to speak with teachers. The appointment system simply helps us to keep conversations moving so that as many parents and carers as possible can be seen. 💬✨

We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 29th September and working together to support your child's success. 💙🌟
