Opening our doors on Wednesday and welcoming so many new faces is something which makes us so proud of what we do each day.

To every person who came to our open evening on Wednesday, thank you! We hope you found it helpful and whilst being welcomed. We also hope you found your place at Stockton Sixth Form and we hope you join us in September.

To all of our staff and ambassadors who came together, thank you. You make the college a community.

If you’re reading this and you didn’t get a chance to come along, reach out to us as we’d be happy to help where we can. Our next open day is 7 December.

Lastly, studies aren’t just for school leavers, if you’re 19+ and looking to upskill or gain the skills needed to make your next steps in the career you’re aiming for, our adult learning team can support funded by Tees Valley CA

Where are they now: Hattie Joynes

Hattie studied performing arts, criminology, media studies and BTEC business with us, leaving in 2021. She started a law degree at Northumbria University, then realised it wasn't for her and switched to marketing. Starting again felt like a big decision, but she says it was one of the best she has made.

At university she worked on a live brief for Greggs and was one of 25 students from across the UK picked for the DMA's summer programme. She has since handed in her master's dissertation in media and journalism at Newcastle University while working as a marketing executive in Middlesbrough. Next month she moves to Oxford to join Levo, a creative agency working with car brands.

Her advice if you're not sure what's next: "You don't necessarily need to have everything figured out when you leave sixth form."

Thank you, Hattie, for getting in touch and for your kind words about Sophie, Andy, Nicola and Marc.

Friday was National Teaching Assistants' Day. Thank you to our learning support assistants at Stockton. Your work helps make the college a truly inclusive place, and the support and kindness you show our students is second to none.

Absolutely smashed through our target of £250! Well done Stockton 6th form College, it is amazing what we can do when we all pull together 💚☕️

What better charity to do it for than Macmillan cancer research, who work hard to help the 3.5 million+ people affected by cancer in the UK.

We look forward to seeing you all at our next amazing fundraiser💚🩷

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning has kicked of at today with a delicious selection of treats brought in by staff and students. Brilliant to see so many donations rolling in to help us fight cancer together.
