It is my pleasure these days to be supporting people and their managers dealing with situations arising from Covid, home working and other work related challenges through one to one coaching, mentoring and training, both face to face and remotely.

Whilst I studied Whitmore's GROW model as part of my training degree, I use it for my coaching and encourage my learners and managers to use it, I am finding that complex situations are supported magnificently by employing training skills and techniques and a little mentoring as well as coaching as part of the support process.

Thanks a million to customers who trust me to support your managers and team members. I am always happy to help.

So, keep filling your mind with positive thoughts …

I often hear that the word 'love' is the most powerful word for our lives. I reckon that if applied by everyone, 'kindness' is the one behaviour that could end strife, wars and unhappiness in our world. What are your thoughts on this?

We don't hear much these days about 'on the job, training and yet it is so important. When we expect our team members to pass on their skills to new starters it's neither appropriate nor effective to use the 'sitting with Nellie' approach instead of providing 'on the job' trainer skills training. It has been my privilege to train and assess 'on the job' trainers in numerous organisations including training for Vopak International, Warburtons, Highways Industry, Tetley Tea, Serco International, Tradebe, and presently Berkshire Labels. This training supports, quality, safety, compliance and motivation. Give it a go.
